Build 7 is currently at 6.4k words. It’s not finished, but it’s progress. Slowly but surely… Work’s been draining me a lot lately, so my creative motivation has been a little bit low. I also may be trying to do too many things at once (like programming and writing at the same time).

Here’s a few progress pics I took this time around. Some of the joints can’t be painted because the paint comes off 😭 But yeah! Kip’s body is painted. His clothes are probably never gonna come off (especially since they were a pain to put on). The same goes for Kale too!

So, in Chill Pills’s last build, Kale had a very important question that left unanswered. That question being: “What color is Kip’s butthole?” I finally have an answer, and it’s in the form of a (hopefully) hot piece of artwork. (don’t shame me, this is the second time I’ve drawn butthole)

Kip, an anthropomorphic badger, lays with his sensitive bits facing the viewer.

We don’t get a view of his face, but we do get a nice view of his huge and fuzzy balls, fuzzy butt cheeks, and his pinkish asshole.

Icebrrg had a hard time drawing this (perspective and butthole).

It makes me emotional to think I could actually write a book. When I was in first grade, I decided I wanted to become an author. I was going to write a book, and people were going to read it. Fast forward many years later, I haven’t published a book— BUT, I have a WIP VN with many readers!

I extracted the dialogue from my VN to see how many words I’ve written, and here’s the result: Build 1: 8,917 2: 8,511 3: 8,162 4: 9,290 5: 11,711 6: 12,310 (and still writing!!!) Episode Kip: 9,645 Total: 68,546!! (Officially more than the 50k words required to be considered a novel!!)

TYCP’s Build 6 is being halted for now. Instead, I’m working on a side story featuring our favorite badger! It takes place a few months before the events of the main story. Instead of Kale being the narrator, it’ll be Kip! I was talking about how I wanted to develop Kip, and I think this’ll help.
