I am so tired of us as a country having to put up with the Trump administration testing the rule of law and the court system in an effort to give him authority to do whatever he wants to do. He has proven he won't abide by lower court rulings so SCOTUS needs to put an end to this crap now not later.

I watched the movie, "A Girl LIke Her" and I tell you this, if my kids had been bullied in HS like the girl in this movie was there would have been hell to pay by those kids/their parents. Talk to your kids, make sure they can tell you about stuff like this. It could be their lives at stake.

Waiting 2 years for the midterms for Dems to take the majority to stop what Trump is doing is too late. At the pace he's going and being allowed to, there may not even be midterm elections. He's close to 100% control now. Wake the fuck up people! It's highly unlikely that SCOTUS won't back him.

I hope the European countries that have seized Russian funds take it and make/purchase weapons and ammo from wherever they can and get it to Ukraine ASAP. Europe can't count on US gov't support so now is the time. I could have never imagined a US president siding with Russia. I'm ashamed.

Fed gov't layoffs will continue. If you're a state employee in a state that's controlled by a MAGA governor and legislature, don't be surprised if your state starts doing the same as Trump and Musk are doing at the federal level and your job goes away. I can for sure see that happening here in TX.

Just a fact to ponder: 20% of Americans die before the age of 70. FRA under SS is currently 67 (1960+). The House Republican Study Committee proposes it be changed to 69. If they get their way, even MORE Americans that paid into SS all their lives will never see a dime. Is that ok with you?

Let's be realistic. "We the people" can fight for what's right but even if Trump is gone in 4 years and a "I'll fix what he destroyed" candidate is elected, it will take decades to fix what he breaks between now and then. 4 yrs is a long time. He and his appointees can and will do a lot of damage.

Partisan lawyers will of course take the place of Danielle Sassoon and the four other attorneys no longer with DOJ after today. Their standing up for the right thing deserves a kudo. Sassoon is a Repub appointed to her position by DJT. They had more guts than all of the GOP members of Congress.

I'd like to feel sorry for the GOP members of Congress that are afraid of Trump but I just can't. If they can't stand up for the constitution and what is right they don't deserve our sympathy. Not all of them have a conscience but those that do know they are enabling a tyrant.
