I passed through portland twice this weekend but didn't actually manage to be in town at the same time as word virus books was open. i gave my friends a package of books and zines so they can hand them off when they're passing through later today. it's so convoluted, but it's happening.

extremophiles has sold almost 100 copies in the three months it's existed, which is honestly kind of disturbing to know its out there with so many people now. kind of concerning. anyway, i just ordered a second printing so I can keep distributing this kind of awful thing.

last years version of check engine light beside the new one, which arrived in the mail today. third book from Carcinogen Press. I'm really enjoying the look and feeling of turning my violent little books into actual pocket books. The portability makes them somehow feel more aggressive.

getting extremely close to republishing my first novella. cover redesign is basically done, just need to do another formatting pass and it should be ready to send for printing at the end of the month. this is the one about being 22 queer insane and alone in a new city, also the world is ending.

the new thing I'm writing is in the triangle of leonorra carringtons little novel the stone door, the movie primer, and the framework of oracle books. it's taking the most planning per word I've needed to do so far because the whole thing is a many sided puzzle that i need to design before writing

This one is actually a homage to a previous painting I did and gifted to Rats about 5 years ago, Two Lovers (acrylic on canvas). It was back when my art style was a bit more abstract.
