On this Labor Day as we face a probable baseball lockout next year, just a reminder: Salary caps are anti-labor

I made this account to post my livestreams, go figure I didn't post either of my first two. Well, time to rectify that I suppose. Bernards hosts Cranford in a BCC clash! The Mountaineers seek a return to their winning ways after a rare regular season L; the Cougars look to start the year on a win.

Dolly Parton, among a thousand other amazing things she did in her life, gifted over 330 million books to kids through her Imagination Library program. Her passing is a tremendous loss to the world, but you can support the program today to keep it going imaginationlibrary.com

They really waited for Cone to take a series off too so it'd be a Kay-O'Neill booth, the only remaining combo that will never push back on it

the good news is that, for at least the foreseeable future, these humanoid robots can be easily defeated by utilizing any number of foiling tactics demonstrated in your run-of-the-mill looney tunes cartoon.

Words about the Yankees' habitual streaks of hitting listlessness. There is a world in which they can adjust to not having Judge and Bellinger in the lineup, but to this point, our world has not been it.

Can the Yankee offense find an identity to rally around before it’s too late?

I got a $2 ticket to the BlueClaws game but wound up turning around when the traffic started to get hairy and I wasn't even out of Somerset County. It's nice to just abandon a plan every now and again, especially when it was just gonna be another long solo trip.

Warren is obviously not long for the rotation with Rodón returning imminently; the issue is that I just don't feel like his profile screams "guy who figures it out as a reliever" either

Putting my broadcasts from the past season on the big ass living room TV and screen recording any of the calls I like is the only way to make the compilation of a demo reel feel even the slightest bit interesting. I'd ask "chat are we cooked" but at least I'm doing it

The Tigers are dumb for trading Tarik Skubal instead of pledging to invest in their own future by retaining him and seeking to re-sign him. They are also classy for letting Lombard be there to see his son. I don't think it was ever a given that they would do that, but they did!

Jeremy Nielsen @twoseamrube.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Baptising this new account with a thought about George Lombard, the Tigers and the trade deadline: GLSr. getting to watch his son debut is a good reminder that there are great people in most every organization, including the ones with miserly owners or cowardly baseball ops departments.
