It's that time again where I have to tell myself I need to stop freaking out about America, I'm not American and I don't live there, cant do anything to fix it. Just a lot of the social media anxiety and stress is generated from the shit show happening there and I get swept up in it.

27 years into the relationship and Diane (My Wife) has started making me do park runs. 5K this morning. She's either trying to get me fitter so I'll be around longer or knowing my recent experiences performing outdoor exertions maybe trying shorten it.

Back at work after a week recuperating from fracturing one of my ribs. Also my hospital painkillers have mostly run out and my side is throbbing a little uncomfortably. That will teach me to try and exercise

Last night my kids were away, one was at cubs, and the other a week long school trip. We went out for dinner just the two of us, It was great just being there the two of us without screaming kids. I'm sure we'll miss them when they eventually leave but it was a reminder of the before times.

I'd managed to block / Hide all the suggested pages and all the adverts on Facebook. Has been about 6 months since I saw something on my page that wasn't a friends post. But they must of taken on a lot of new advertising customers because its all back. Back to blocking / hiding again

I don't think the saying Evil wins when good men do nothing is applicable in social media. The temptation to correct bigotry or misinformation. It just creates engagement which helps spread it to more people. Ignoring / blocking and moving on are the best ways to deal.
