Yep this was great! Pretty handily my favorite Thompson Bros. game and I’ve enjoyed each one more than the last. Also probably the best Metroidvania I’ve played this side of Silksong? Still gotta get to MIO before the year is out. Anyways, play this video game!

Yeah okay I'll do it. Would probably be a different list tomorrow though.

I'm also not typically a Screenshot Guy, but this game's gorgeous art direction coupled with moments of fixed camera angles and perfect shot composition had me Doing The Thing a bunch!!

Level-5 is barely releasing games as it is and the games they are releasing aren’t even fully made by them anymore. I’m good, thanks!

it's easy to forget that this kid is also me. would i ever dream of telling this kid some of the things i tell myself about myself today? no way. if i can be gentle and patient and understanding to this kid, i can treat him the same way today.

Last night on TND, we did a bracket for Switch 2 exclusives released during the console's first year. Randomized seeds. My guest (Andross) and I each had a vote, while the live chat had a collective third vote. 1. Pokopia 2. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book 3. Donkey Kong Bananza 4. Mario Kart World

Wrote a lil piece about Yoshi and the Mysterious Book for tonight's episode of The Nintendo Drive. I'm also working on something for the CPG YouTube channel but had to get my thoughts out!! Full episode VOD here, it's a fun one: www.youtube.com/live/kGyH82h...

The weather here has been insane and we’ve been without power most of the day. No clue when it’ll come back. I know what’ll fix me.

Also - Bluesky is making me upload this video as its own separate post. But that's okay. It's worthy of it.

A couple of David Lynch x King Dedede romance updates. They now live together. Their ship name is "The Big Ds". Despite this, they still haven't confessed their love to each other yet. I suspect that's coming soon.

The romance blossoming between David Lynch and King Dedede on my island is unexpected, but not unwelcome.

It’s funny coming off Final Fantasy X straight into People of Note. There’s definitely some design inspirations in here. I looooooove fixed camera angle environments. Really allows for pretty composition like this. Wish more games did this!
