Tonight's grub... Slow roasted melt-in-your-mouth lamb with a Greek Kapama style sauce (including roasted shallots), served with baby potatoes (in a olive oil, lemon, rosemary and thyme dressing), with minted petit pois, tenderstem broccoli, baby corn and baked courgette.

My Kapama sauce contains lamb stock, chopped tomatoes, roasted shallots, puréed roasted garlic cloves, red wine, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves.

Also on the table are some toasted Greek flatbread and tzatziki. And a beer. 😋

I bet not many of you would eat this as it is. Tuna salad with chilli stuffed olives and pickled cockles

A bowl of tuna salad. Containing an iceberg lettuce base, layered with tomatoes, cucumber, red onion and sweet peppers. Topped with homemade Marie Rose sauce, chilli stuffed green olives, crispy bacon bits and pickled cockles. Served with buttered sourdough.
