The horrific events that occurred in #Berlin yesterday during #CSD will not overshadow the importance or significance of the movement. It is the need to fight hate and ignorance that brings people together for the CSD parade. That need remains ever present! 🏳️‍🌈✊🏼

Chapter 21 of my book and two of the protagonists get intimate. It wasn’t planned that way, but being alone and afraid and in uncertain times brings people closer together. #love #fear #storytelling twoandamic.substack.com/p/where-bird...

A square button that gives a short synopsis of chapter 21 of my book Where Birds No Longer Fly, which I finished writing in 2017. It was no longer happy sitting on my hard drive and so I have decided to give it some air and let others read the thoughts I had way back then, before COVID, before the subtle changes, and before fascism once again became an obvious presence in our daily lives…

A thumbnail of chapter 13 of my book Where Birds No Longer Fly completed in 2017. This chapter looks at how power corrupts even the scientific mind that in wishing to guide humanity into a golden age, will permit himself almost any sacrifice (of human life) to achieve it.

It stands naked, not proud or vain, but naked because it is time. It will gather what it can, it will stand, it will remain outstretched ‘Til the time comes for it to bring out what it has, not in pride or vanity, but because it’s time ‘Til it is time to change, again. While we all walk by unaware.
