It’s that time of year again - filling up for diesel for heat in the winter. Ended up putting in 357 gallons. The fuel dock kid dropped his phone in the water while we were fueling so @twitchy.bsky.social got the scuba gear, dove, and found it! It still worked! Got $40 off fuel for that one. 🤣

One of the things I’ve always wanted to do in the boat is to find a time (this year hopefully) to anchor in a more discreet place and have a diaper party with friends and enjoy the weather. I don’t think we’re taking the boat anywhere til diesel prices go down tho, so maybe that dooms it this year

The TV is mounted with a wood frame that’s wedged/screwed into the floor/ceiling for stability in rough seas. Used to have a piano covering the bottom, but now that we sold it we needed to make it look like a nice mount. So Twitchy modeled and 3D printed our boat and we dreamed up this little thing

Had a custom all in one reef tank made for the boat. it has a screw down lid to keep the water in when we do boat stuff! Stay tuned for more fishy posts in the future. ❤️

A timelapse up the Virginia Cut. 3 bridges that only open on the hour or half hour, a lock, and a bridge that we needed to bring down our antennas for clearance! We timed it all very well!

I love being able to open up the boat on a nice breezy cool day! It really makes me want to do a mooring ball more often. Looks like we have enough water and blackwater tank space to last us 8-9 days before we need to go back to shore for a water refill/pump out.
