Already watched the first three episodes of Avatar Seven Havens 😍 Lightning in a bottle may only happen once but this series definitely has the charm, humor and depth of an Avatar series there’s no mistaking it! This is gonna be good ☺️ Also Karthik is daddy 🥵

Tried the Castlevania Belmont’s Curse demo and honestly gameplay wise it looks like a lot ot fun. I like the option to add a black outline to make the character and enemies more visible! Story and dialogue seem rough but it’s Castlevania 😅 Probably gonna wait for a Switch 2 edition to get it!

Are you interested in the Trails series, but are unsure of committing to 13 games (and counting)? Trails in the Sky FC and SC tell a whole, satisfying story. You could walk away happy after SC, even if you never play another Trails game. (But hopefully you'll want to continue!)

Trails in the Sky, usually called Trails in the Sky FC (First Chapter)

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (remake of Trails in the Sky FC)

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter (remake of Trails in the Sky SC)

Dusting off the old PS3 today, playing Hades 1 and 2 obsessively these past few weeks has put me in a God of War mood

Finally reached the credits in Hades 1! Won’t do the post game right away because I’ve been aching to play Hades 2! Let’s do this 🙌🏼

Finally finished the Sakura Clear Cards anime this morning, hopefully Season 2 will air sometime soon! ✨💕 Should read the manga eventually Also I went to see the Resident Evil movie last night, utterly hated it 🙃 I was expecting an action horror movie, not a Family Guy level comedy 🫥 3/10 for me

Today I couldn’t find a game that held my attention, until I booted Hades. Man I forgot how addictive that game can be! Made it to the boss of the third domain on my first run of the day, furthest I ever got so far. Something tells me I’ll play some more of that tomorrow 👀

This is so fucking exciting! As a big Diablo fan since the first game, IV has been and mostly remains a disappointment to me, so I’m looking forward to seeing what they’re cooking for the next installment and leave IV behind!

They say it takes on average 5 attempts to finally get out of a domestic abuse relationship, and while I was never abused, the relationship was highly toxic and after this… 5th or 6th attempt to get out I think I’m finally free So I’m gonna be releasing all my built up anger into Bloodborne today!

I cannot wait for this full game to release 🤩 It might even eclipse Trails in the Sky 🫣 if only because I’ve played TitS SC before whereas this is completely new and fresh to me

Ok the only weird random annoyance with Final Fantasy Resonance I have so far is that the CGI animations for summons are not dubbed in English, which is just… weird. Like, not a major dealbreaker, but it stands out when the rest of the game is dubbed in English. It just feels like an oversight 😐

Twenben @twenben.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Why… why is it not Ravager? I get breaker but… ravager was right there? The FFXIII fan inside me is both delighted for the homage and RAVAGED that they changed this to breaker 🫠

Fall is truly the best season for gaming, it just feels so cozy to stay in and play games, and you don’t have to feel guilty about missing out on sunny summer days 😌 Currently playing (or replaying in the case of FFXVI) - FFXVI (first time for the DLCs!) - LiS Double Exposure - FFResonance - TitS2

Twenben @twenben.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Ok, Life is Strange Double Exposure looks absolutely terrible on Switch (even on Switch 2, but not as bad in handheld with boost mode on) That’s the price I pay for being petty against Sony 😅 game still runs fine, and I’m happy to see grown up Max 🥹

030

Twenben @twenben.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Life is Strange 2’s ending 🥺😢 my heart ❤️‍🩹 I have so much to say about Daniel being a little brat and Sean being so deadset on running away, and the state of racism in the US.. This might be my favourite Life is Strange game. Although Before the Storm was pretty good too Wolf brothers forever 🐺

No time to waste! Final Fantasy XVI might be next on my replay list 🗡️🔥 Let’s see if it sticks though 😅 but for now the mindless combat with zero depth and pretty visuals is giving me the good feelings

Twenben @twenben.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Finished Final Fantasy IX (for the… I think 5th time honestly) for my 2-year strong series replay! Needless to say the message of the game is still just as strong and I cried like a baby at the end again. Quina, Vivi, Zidane and Garnet are the best, Kuja too. 10/10 game ✨

There’s never been a better time to get into Trails. Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter remake is without a doubt the best way to start your trails journey and you won’t have to agonize waiting for 2nd chapter after finishing it since its remake is coming out soon!

Twenben @twenben.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Feels like I’ve had less time for gaming these past few months. And I still game a solid 1-2 hours a day at minimum, but I can’t spend a whole day gaming even when I have the time. I might go crazy today and finish the Trails in the Sky demo though 🫣

Diving back into Xenoblade Chronicles X has been a joy. It’s a definite improvement on the Wii U version on almost all fronts (I do miss my gamepad integration) and I don’t mind the minor upscaling weirdness on the Switch 2 version Ganglions beware!

Having a non gamer boyfriend has been really interesting. He shows interest in the lore of all my games (Trails, Tales, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil etc) but then he’ll be like “When do you start playing? Why are they just talking?” 😂 Oh sweetie a 10 minute cutscene is nothing, buckle up 😁

Played the Duskfade demo this morning! Felt good to play something other than trails for the first time in over a month 😅 It’s heavily reminiscent of ps2 action platformers with elements that scream Kingdom Hearts. But it doesn’t have the gravitas that a game like KH has, nor the ost. It’s alright!
