Apologies for falling behind on posts here, it’s been a busy month! Most recently, I attended the San Francisco stop of Kyle MacLachlan’s ‘Fictional Selves’ book tour. Read about it on Twin Peaks Blog: twinpeaksblog.com/2026/10/04/k...

In ‘93, Wrapped in Plastic interviewed Frank Silva at Twin Peaks Fest in WA. Frank signed a stack of magazines for contest prizes. In 2021, I traded a signed copy of Alice in Chains’ “Facelift” that I got for $3 while working at a record store for one of these mags. Best $3 I’ve ever spent.
Framed copy of Wrapped in Plastic magazine issue #3 featuring a drawing of Frank Silva as Killer Bob on the cover. Signed in black marker, the cover says “Beware of Bob, Frank Silva.”Wrapped in Plastic magazine page with details for a write in contest. The text reads as follows:
“THE SECOND WRAPPED IN PLASTIC CONTEST! Next issue, we'll announce the winners of our Julee Cruise contest, but while you're waiting, enter our new contest below! The prizes: WIP #3—our "Killer Bob" issue-signed by Frank Silva himself! Across the cover, they say, "Beware of Bob, Frank Silva"! Wow, Bob, wow! Answer the four questions below! We'll take all the correctly-answered entries we've received by February 15 and randomly draw five winners! Once again, the rules: entries must be submitted on a postcard. The WIP staff is, of course, ineligible to win. Entries received after February 15 are too late! So here are the questions:
1. Which two Twin Peaks actors' birthdays are on Halloween (October 31)?
2. Which rock video had a brief appearance by Frank
Silva as Bob?
3. Name at least four "mirrors" that Bob appears in.
4. When Leland was a little boy, Bob used to flick matches at him. Where did he say this happened?”

Happy birthday to the great Ray Wise, whose dynamic performance as Leland Palmer carried much of #TwinPeaks tension. Here he is holding one of the original “Have You Seen This Man?” posters that I displayed at the Real Twin Peaks prop panel in February 2025. Great actor and a great sport.

In 2011, David Lynch designed a set of patches exclusively for “In the Trees: Twin Peaks 20th Anniversary Art Exhibition” which was held at Clifton’s in DTLA (who would later host the afterparty for the S3 premiere). Artists in the exhibit included Grace Zabriskie, Richard Beymer, and Lynch himself.

Exactly 35 years ago on June 10, 1991, #TwinPeaks original run ended with 18 minutes in the Black Lodge - more than all previous appearances combined. Dave Robinson gave me this Polaroid of the iconic chevron floor that he painted over the course of a week. For the record, it was brown and cream.

In Part 6 of #TwinPeaks S3, Carl Rodd sits on a bench and looks up at the trees. This was filmed at EJ Roberts Park in North Bend, WA. Roberts was a developer who donated the park upon his death, but there has been a push to rename it due to his refusal to sell the homes he built to people of color.

A Denise Bryson appreciation post for #TransDayOfVisibility. Thank you to @markfrost.bsky.social and David Lynch for treating this important character with care from 1990 all the way to 2017.
Text on a blue, pink, and white trans pride flag, reading: “In December of 1990, positive representation for the LGBTQIA+ community
in media was scarce, but Twin Peaks introduced an unapologetic, confident, quick-
witted trans character to television audiences without her being the butt of a joke.
Even if they didn't immediately understand her, Agent Bryson's peers respected her.
When Twin Peaks returned in 2017, David Lynch's character Gordon Cole spelled it out
in case there was any doubt: trans people are worthy of love and respect, and any clown
comics who feel otherwise can fix their hearts or die. Trans lives are not up for debate. I'm proud to be part of a fan community that has no trouble abiding by this, because frankly, we live in a world that goes out of its way to be cruel instead of understanding. Today and every day, I appreciate my trans friends and admire the courage it takes to be their authentic selves in a world that is needlessly hostile toward them.”
