It’s great because it made it easy to position him on the throne that came with Blokees Megatron. It’s a regal look. 😊

Yeah. His stature and his head-sculpt are SO spot on. It’s wild to me that it took 41 years to emulate the design of the cartoon.

This was a huge surprise from a friend. He’s big, he’s bright, and his antennas are super pointy. I love him.

Not my favorite Prime. I still think Earthrise Prime fits that particular bill. This guy is a little too boxy, a little too fiddley. His smokestacks are super loose, and some of his parts require special care. He’s okay. Perhaps a C+.

I was so pleased they fixed and rereleased this guy. I always loved this character. Never hurt to have had a Transformers nerd.

I still love my Japanese Combiner Wars Devistator, but I’m surprised how much I’ve enjoyed how well made this version is. It mostly feels sturdy (except the feet), and it interlocks so neatly. He ends up feeling like a fully intact figure.

I’m attempting to learn macro photography. This is a close as I’ve gotten thus far. He’s such a tiny Grimlock… simple but easy way to start.

I love how this is the most Megatronie Megatron that actually transforms. I am not a fan of his alt-mode, but I’m satisfied to keep him in this format.

Totally agree! This is such a small thing, but it’s almost the only example of justice here anymore.

As ever Sir. Handily, one of THE most handsome men on this planet.

They are lots of fun. VERY posable, and their joints have an almost ‘chewy’ quality that make them enjoyable to fiddle with. Highly recommended.

Leveled looks better, but it could prove a nuisance without the backing. That said, aesthetics are significant in one’s living space. Yeah, I’d personally go with the leveled 😊

I’ve been on a Blokees kick lately. What can I say? They’re colorful, bendable, and fun to build. I have to admit, I wasn’t too keen on the proportions of this Optimus Prime, but it grew on me. He’s now the leader of all of the waves of Blokees Transformers in this house. Glad to have him 😊

Cutie bots! I can’t get over how much I love these little guys. The size and molestability are top notch. My friend suggested they should bring back Battle Beasts in this format. How killer would that be?!

You’ll have to pardon me for saying that you are almost unreasonably handsome ☺️ Easily amongst the ranks of the best looking men. Congrats to your exceptional efforts. You’ve done a lot of excellent work with yourself. Well done!

I make it sound like day to day life here fully sucks. It doesn’t. Civility exists here. Just not uniformly.

000

<Ugh> Americans and their f’ing guns. I live near Seattle where people don’t walk around with them, but other parts of the state I live in (and country)… people walk around with them holstered to their damn belts. They’re SO afraid of the world they’ve made. They fear reprisals from their own.

As a side note... It's feeds like yours that provide video gamey enjoyment, and aesthetic appreciation, that provide pleasant distractions. I really appreciate what you post. Thank you.

You are absolutely right, and it has to be done now; before the government is too heavily stacked against the people. And for the LGBTQ... they are already coming for those who aren't caucasian, we're next. Scary times <more ugh>.

Gosh... I'm sorry to say, you 'may' be giving us too much credit. Over half of the people here voted for that "man". It's hard to say really, there seem to be a lot of MAGA/Nazis here. That may just be specious, but they sure are loud and rather frightening. <ugh>

I LOVE your work! I so rarely go to Instagram these days, and I must say your Skeletor videos are the thing I miss most. Thank you for doing what you do. You are SO sharp!

‘Not’ sexual weird, to be clear (although maybe that works for some). I meant the same kind of… like, CPU… sort of similar processing. Not that one’s interests even have to be remotely the same, just… Having similar algorithms is nice. And the goofy (as I said). BIG on goofy!

ThaddW 🏳️‍🌈 @tweil75.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

I’ve also found having the same kind of ‘silly’ helps too. That, and the same kind of weird 🤪

ThaddW 🏳️‍🌈 @tweil75.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

What a spectacular achievement, congratulations! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful and personal occasion! It’s always so heartening to see relationships that work. You two seem so happy in that photo. May your future together continue to be bright 😊

Were that it weren’t such a challenge 😁.

ThaddW 🏳️‍🌈 @tweil75.bsky.social · 15/02/2025

Hmm... want! It's tough though. You get to a point where it's like, do I really have room for another collection – even though they are tiny. I've already been making space for two new waves of Blokees. Where would these go? First world problems... 🤔

Wow! I was totally unaware of those. They really capture the spirit of BB’s, just without the rub signs. That said, I loved rub signs as a kid, but they sure didn’t hold up over time. Thank you for pointing these out!

ThaddW 🏳️‍🌈 @tweil75.bsky.social · 15/02/2025

I wish they would make these again for the American market. I LOVED BB’s but wasn’t allowed to get many as a kid. BTW, Rik’s posts are the Best! SO many phenomenal photos with a ton of background information. Such a worthy follow!

Correction. It was 1979 when the Apple ][ Plus came out. I was four 🤪

ThaddW 🏳️‍🌈 @tweil75.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

In 1977 or 1998 when I was three or four we had an Apple ][ Plus. I loved a game called, “Snack-Man”, a knock of of Pac-Man – which I couldn’t get enough of – in the local pizza parlor. I’d play “SM” the game (badly) off of the keyboard and those crummy old green displays. 🙂 Good times!

Wow! Thanks for reposting. That has only ever happened to me once before ☺️

What an excellent achievement. You've done a terrific job on yourself. You have a lot to be proud of.

It has been more than a minute since I attempted to draw anything. These were done in Procreate. They’re probably not finished yet, but this is what I’ve toyed with so far.

Somber blue man with a stretched head and sharp cartoony features. His shirt is a light navy, and his hair is purple.

A sharply featured doodle of a man’s head. His skin is a yellowish orange, and his hair is tinted with blue.

Oh, I highly recommend getting him. He's a really solid figure. He doesn't have any real exposed gaps, and his joints are nice and chewy. I will be honest, I haven't transformed him more than once, but his robot mode is the real star of the package.

I’ve posted these guys before, but I just love their sculpts.

This is off topic for me, but my friend Chad let me take pictures of a few of his map turtles. They are: Root, Twig, and Berry. These guys are tiny. Smallest of the turtles he has, but SO much braver than the larger ones. Often surprises me how adorable they are :-)

Name, Root. He’s a young Texas Map turtle clinging to a rock. His heads out of the water and his yellowish eyes are looking right at the camera.

This one is named Berry. He’s another Texas map turtle about the size of a quarter. His shell is green but a little more on the brown side. He’s basking on a branch with his yellow and forest green striped neck staring at the camera.

Once again we have Berry but from the top. He’s looking straight ahead from atop his basking branch.

This is Berry’s sibling Twig, as in ‘Twig and Berry’. They are more domed than Berry, and more yellow. They are standing upon a wet rock giving us a straight-on look.

Your observations about Americans are spot on. I am deeply ashamed to be an American. We are entitled hypocrites, and we seem to be pulling the rest of the world down with us. <Ugh>. I suppose I have no point saying this, except that some of us are in accord with your thinking.

Thank you for posting. What you share certainly puts a little lightness into my day. I’m sure it does the same for SO many more too. You are making a positive difference.
