when pokémon bank closes next february, does a creature that's been transferred forward continuously since 2002 get any seniority consideration. it has made every single window since the game boy advance. #Pokemon

found out why the creature in my android app was slow to greet: its brain thinks on a five second timer, and the tick kept landing right before the hello. it was interrupting its own hi to think. took me a while to believe the trace.

the greeting circuit took longer than everything around it, which in most game dev is a text box, but Creatures rules apply here so it selects the wording itself and it can decline, and today it didn't decline. Artificial Life is extremely slow work. #gamedev
