I think I will make the roundel a bit bigger but not as big as the big version I printed 🤔

Some late evening test fitting of different options~

It’s funny but I don’t think I will go with this one 😂

yeah can't wait to unlock the LASM! But my Mirage is only lv 11 right now and I need A LOT more Zollars 😂

Twai @twai.bsky.social · 23h

I gave the Prowler a try it was "ok" But as you said the Mirage works a lot better, espacially when your random squad mates are busy chasing each other and no one cares about the little Mirage on the ground! Somehow I am now a lot better in warefare than assault 😂 So thanks again for the tip!

hmmmm strange I would say I'm not doing anything special 🤔 I thin them quite heavy I would say around 50/50 a splash of thinner + probably the same amount flow improver and the other half primer. I spray multiple thin layers. Each layer pretty much instantly dries just from the airbrush airflow

it is indeed a lot more premade teams seem to play it and more serious/high level players in general... I thing I will give the Prowler a try this evening. That plane is so slow I will probably arrive when everything is done lol

Twai @twai.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Oh hey! So things are slowly going better with my brand new Mirage. The warfare mode is still an issue though (I only play it for daily) So I was thinking… maybe I should use the Prowler and play as support 🤔 Do you happen to have tips for that?

what thinner do you use and how old is the bottle? I always use vallejo and never had these issues 🤔 I once had a last rest in a bottle though that had gone bad, the were obviously paint pieces swimming in it that kept clogging.

I'd just like to note that putting 4 different loading bars on the screen, each in a different style, is really some peak ui design 😂👍

Ace combat 8 online ui is truly horrible but still finds new ways to make me marvel at the dev choices made here... xD

What Stef, you never have the urge to take a shower with your giant, hot plastic plane?! Ok I will stop, really should not make jokes before my first coffee 😂 Good Morning!

The sentry is so dusty it would actually be best to wash it… if it had not already painted wheel bays, holes everywhere and would fit into my sink… I could take it with me under the shower… 😂

180

yep, I know! But honestly I do not care I'm making my Sentry Long Caster and no one can stop me 🤣

000

Probably because it actually would be an E-767 and not an E-3 but E-3 is so much cooler! Besides most of the awacs in the game are never seen, I am pretty much just making the paint scheme up 😝

I finished my custom decal sheet, next time I am in the office I need to make a test print (on paper) and see how aweful the quality is! When I bought the sentry I also bought a package decal "paper" I am not very confident this will work though 😂

There are many great things about Ace Combat 8 but one of the best might be that I actually feel motivated to work on "that" Project again 😂

1171

Nice work Badger! Especially with this complicated paint scheme 😃👍

140

Juuuuuuuudge!! I did as you said and prioritize the orange targets I am not last anymore!!! 🥹

this is looking fantastic!

last time I tried that, I got it half a year later then promised arrival date. When the package finally arrived I had completely forgotten about it... 😂 To be fair that was amazon I have no local vendor for Hasegawa. My only hope is that Super hobby might get it at some point...

000

Yeah that's the dates I also found but it will probably take some time until they are actually buy able here (not straight from japan) 😅

100

sooooo Hasegawa Wings of Theve F-18 release when? xP (apparently 2026/11/15 but I preordered the re-release of Galm 2 back then and I got it only over a half year later.... Still need to build that one)

Thank you for the tips! I will look into it and sry for the rant. Guess I got more upset than I should about this 😅 Honestly I don’t even understand half the menus yet. Had to google to figure out how to even use items….

I was kind of hoping that with all the new people in 8 there would be more noobs and maybe people even worse than me so I would not feel so bad every round. But nope! 😂

honestly I would be fine with just never playing it but now it locks me out of stuff.......

I'd take them! But I have half accepted that multiplayer is not for me. 7 was the same I literally got booted from the lobby for being too noob... I managed to get ace of aces in 7 yet I am still too bad to play with other people 😅

I wished I had the skill! I tried it out today for the first time, it went as expected 😅 Social anxiety made me so nervous I forgot how to play the game and I was so shit that half the rando squad quit half mission… we lost every round…

Twai @twai.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

what I keep wondering... how did they even get it on the truck? 😂

251

This turned out fantastic Dude! 👍👍👍

Twai @twai.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I love them! I only have one tank 😅

171

Probably individual pieces for now, I will probably also only do some in between… I have not even started anything for today 😅

I guess blusky does not like transparent png 😅 OH well...

030

Ok I finished yesterday drawing after all (today) I guess a shitty drawing is better than no drawing xP #Stalktober day 1 Sunflower

I tried to send you a friend request but it says I can't and you have to invite me... I go by _twai 😁

I'm sryyyyyyy!!! but I kid you not I actually paid 500€ to play my beloved Stalker 2 properly 😂

Does not help I I say it's worth it does it 😅

And yeah here and discord are the only places I am active right now 😁👍

Hey Caos! It really has been a long time! I‘m doing great just a critical lack of free time for all the fun things I could do 😂 How about you? Do you still use your discord or did you switch accounts after that incident?

210

I know riiiight?! It's just too much for my limited time! 🥲 The fact that I just wanted to be done with the drawing made it shit in the first place..... maybe I make some drawings when I'm done with the campaign....
