My total shiny haul from go fest this year. Didn’t really play much outside of the rock and fairy hours since I still need the platinum medals for shiny Diancie. Wish it got me closer than it did, but I won’t really complain.

Crazy day on Pokémon go today for barely even playing. Got the shiny Galarian moltres from a regular incense, and shiny mewtwo from the 30th anniversary go pass. Moltres also marks 2 out of 3 of the Galarian birds shinies, leaving just zapdos needing to be tracked down.

Had a pretty successful kalos go tour, probably the biggest shiny haul I’ve gotten from one of the tours. The shiny hawlucha is the only hawlucha I’ve gotten so far, and the giratina is from the go pass and a happy coincidence. Hopefully next year we’ll get your on a weekend that isn’t so cold.

I think it’s interesting how the Pokémon legends Z-A trailers today changed how they present the ranked exclusive mega stones. The removal of the seasons for each one and now also showcasing greninja makes me feel like they might just keep them permanently around as rewards from ranked.

Had a pretty good first day with Pokémon Legends Z-A, clocking in exactly 10 hours. Game is a lot of fun, by far the closest we’ve ever gotten to a game feeling like the anime imo. Also found a random shiny vivillon while just doing story stuff so that was pretty smilers.

010

Bigblast99 @turtlesoup.ca · 16/10/2025

Got that midnight release of legends z-a. Prepped and ready to get to recording come the morning.

030

Finally bought the switch 2 for legends z-a. Had to buy the Mario kart world one as it was all they had, would’ve preferred just the regular one but here we are.

010

Bigblast99 @turtlesoup.ca · 13/10/2025

We finally hit the big 10k. Absolutely blown away. I didn’t imagine we’d hit this milestone before Z-A but here we are. Deepest thanks to everyone that has subscribed and supported the channel. Looking forward to Z-A and hopefully bigger and better things for the channel!

Following the shiny poipole, we have shiny type: null This came in at only 1031 resets, and on the same save as poipole, crazy odds for two full odds hunts. However, I’m now stuck with a poipole and a type: null hunt on a single game unless I replay ultra sun yet again

030

Bigblast99 @turtlesoup.ca · 27/05/2025

Might take a while for it to show up in a video, so I’ll post it now. I got a shiny poipole in a mere 154 resets. Actually speechless over this.

After tons of legendary transferring, a very lucky trade for a mudbray, and over a month of patience, I have finally caught up with the go dex in home. Every dex completed as much as possible. And even now, after all this time and work, I still love just catching Pokémon.

Just popped into legends arceus to get a goodra for the meowscarada raid, and there happened to be a goomy outbreak. Fly over and hear the shiny sound before even seeing I had made it to the outbreak. Shiny luck has been off the charts lately. Now to decide what form of goodra she’ll become.

Bigblast99 @turtlesoup.ca · 28/02/2025

With the Pokémon legends Z-A starter reveal being two Gen 2 starters and a Gen 5 starter, I feel it’s a safe bet the third legends game(referenced by the three books in the arceus reveal) will be snivy litten and popplio, and I theorize it’s done this way as legends 3 will be a Johto game.

Paid for a month of home on my alt account so that I could speed up the process of filling out the game dexes and still spent two hours moving Pokémon around. But hey, I’ve got both forms of shiny Keldeo and the creature. Also got the Meltan but that’s already been banished to let’s go.

I definitely did not think that each of these games would get their own shiny reward due to shiny meloetta needing all three SV dexes, but I’m glad to eat my words. Even happier that I got my shiny phione in bdsp as now I have all 5 sinnoh mythicals with the bdsp origin mark.

Forgot to talk about my arrival today. Ordered the imperial dropship vs rebel scout speeder set. Surprised by how solid the builds are. Always wanted the dropship as a kid, and with points plus the tax holiday, was an easy pickup, especially for the figs for the tantive hallway.
