Wondering if any fellow artists have ever experienced losing all passion for making art and what you did to recover it? #art #artist

I used to be able to get commissions from Reddit, but this year it's been as dry as a desert for me. I've gotten about 3 total enquiries this year, all of which promptly ghosted me after finding out my rates. Even getting one upvote to my post is very rare. We live in very rough times...

Cristiana 'Cru' Leone @cristianaleone.com · 19/08/2025

Today is my birthday! 🥂😁 Would you share my art, please?? 😇🥰 It is the best gift an artist can get!! 💖 Thank you!!! 💜

EOWYN - digital painting depicting Eowyn lying on the ground, looking dead. Long blond hair frames her pale but seemingly serene face. She holds the hilt of her sword, the broken tip of which is in the now-empty crown of the sorcerer of Angmar. The head of the Nazgul's monstrous mount lies at her side, above the broken shield.

LORDS of LOTHLORIEN - The two elves Galadriel and Celeborn, in the foreground, from behind, look at each other smiling lovingly. He waves her to proceed to the elf who, in front of them and in front of a crowd of other smiling elves, offers them tiaras on a leaf-shaped tray. In the background they catch a glimpse of the elven city perched in the giant trees of Lothlòrien.

Digital painting of Cristiana Leone, featuring a bust portrait of her Original character Herm, an halfish (hybrid human-fish race), who, with a sad and melancholic look, holds a book close to his bare chest.

BONDED IN WILD - Digital hand painted portrait of a beautiful shamaness, embracing her familiar, a giant white cat, while some magic flows all around.

I really am not psychologically built for social media and can't help but resent how it's basically necessary for artists. Probably nobody will ever see this but that's also probably for the best. I can't affort not to use it though, I have to push through.

Some old comms... I miss the peak of ACNH sometimes, and the sense of community around the game. I only recently started playing again after Life Stuffᵀᴹ, and while I still find a similar sense of calm and escape, it's just not the same without the community... #ACNH #AnimalCrossing #Commissions
