We're coming up on the 1-year anniversary of Primrows, and that means we'll soon be moving into a "season 2" of challenges. You'll continue to get a new monthly challenge on the first of every month, but we're going to start mixing in rerun challenges for the players who missed them the first go.

Ooooooh boy, this week's #Primrows challenge is one of my favorites! Take Direction assigns even more specific rules for each new flower, corresponding to individual rows, columns, and quads instead of abiding by all the rules at once!

Many players considered the game ‘beaten’ after getting 3-star scores in quickplay and journal, rather than being prompted to push their scores to new heights and really dive down into the deeper levels of strategy. Also, you’ll have achievements to strive for to guide you towards higher-level play.

Hopefully the “Through the Pavement” challenge didn’t end up too frustratingly difficult to 3-star! One big thing we missed, in part because it can be hard to conduct, was longitudinal playtesting: self-guided playtests that last for a couple weeks or more.
