Visuals looked nice, but I found the stretches of no dialogue or music to be odd for Dragon Ball. I hope this attempt to make Beerus more intimidating doesn't last long because I prefer our silly kitty god.

Ok your hunch was right, these def look to HMR at least in size.

The decals and panels look very similar to the dx so it's hard to say. I think it's more likely a reissue. Plus Bandai would usually do their own announcement for a new HMR.

An an inch of progress, though movie related stuff has been fair game for a big for Big West. The TV show and related goods will probably never be free.

Wave is releasing a new Super Evangelion figure under their GO Mecha Labo line and recently displayed a painted sample. Interestingly the new figure is based on Yamashita's revised 2016 design. This thoroughly sets it apart from the 2010 Chogokin figure which was based on the original 2007 design.

This figure has some weird interpretations of the chest armor weapons. Surprisingly no missiles like pretty much every game and model goes for.

As a kid I had a a fair amount of Irwin and Jacks figures, but the one I recall being my favorite was Movie Collection Broly. The large size, the (somewhat) articulate limbs, and the iconic character still stands out in my memory.

Received a figure I've been really looking forward to; the new Metal Robot Spirits Ex-S Gundam. Took it out and immediately had to do the iconic pose.

Looks cool. Only unfortunate aspect is the clear band. Those tend to yellow fairly quickly, especially with heavy usage.

Recently unboxed the ver Anime Hyaku Shiki. I think it strikes the right balance between lithe and chunky like the line art. The Zeta ver Anime lineup is really filling out, cant wait for the Ashimar.

Episode 8 has some interesting "blink and you miss them" moments. The Command Type Elf Bullock in MP-like colors, the "Illusion Funnels" from the Tricky Pack, and the G-Self's face formed by the tricky pack are so neat.
