Frostdawn, Erin Hunter's punching bag #2. She also deserves a warm blanket and a peaceful life. #warriorcats

Drawing of Frostdawn from the Warriors book series. She's looking up, dismayed or disbelieving while tears stream down her face. There's a glowing, white star above her head (signifying that she needs to decide the next RiverClan leader) and white, curled feathers floating around her (signifying her mother Curlfeather, the false sign from StarClan she had and the dream that followed which she thought was from StarClan, telling her that her mother should be the next leader). There are two bright red slashes across her throat, forming an X shape, in reference to the two throat wounds she received from Splashtail. First in an assassination attempt and a second while fighting him.

Shadowsight, Erin Hunter's punching bag #1. I wish to wrap him in a warm blanket. #warriorcats

Drawing of Shadowsight from the Warriors book series. He has a scared expression. On top of his eyes are two black starts that have been shattered in the middle, signifying his connection to StarClan breaking. Behind him is a lightning strike, calling back to the time he was struck by lightning. Around him is text that says "Code breakers must be punished" which is lifted from the arc he was the point of view character in.

Jayfeather my baby StarClan sucks.

Drawing of Jayfeather from the Warrior Cats book series. He has a slightly angry expression while tears stream down his face. Next to him is text that says "May StarClan light your path". The phrase is used as a blessing in the book series but is supposed to be ironic in this picture, hence the tears and angry look, because StarClan (their version of god/heaven) is not good or kind.

Scourge, the edgy boy of Warriors who is very fun to draw

Drawing of Scourge from the Warrior Cats book series. He is a black cat with blue eyes and a white paw. The paw has extra long claws and is covered in blood, Scourge is licking one of the claws. He has a purple collar with dog teeth embedded into it, also smeared with blood. There's text around him that says "A scourge on the name of all good cats", which is a quote from the comic "The Rise of Scourge".

I realised I never posted the redraw of the first Genericpaw page here. Redraw done in 2024, original 2018

Four panel comic page. First panel: A grey cat is laying down, looking tired but smiling. A light brown cat is standing behind her, looking happy. They're both looking at a small brown tabby kitten by the grey cat's stomach. The light brown cat says "Great job, honey. What a wonderful tom-kit we have!". Second panel: Close up of the grey and light brown cats, now rubbing their heads together. The grey one says "Yes, thank you. I think I'll name him... Generickit.". Third panel: close up of the brown kitten. His eyes are large and round, he is smiling. Next to him is text that says *eyes open*. Fourth panel: The brown kitten is now sitting up and looking at his mother, saying "Thank you, dearest mother, for gifting such a great name for me!".

Same as the first picture but drawn a lot more poorly/sloppily

I redrew page 46 of Genericpaw for funsies. It's wild how much more polished the style has become lol. The original was drawn in 2021

A four panel comic page. First panel has three cats in it, a fluffy grey one, a brown tabby one and an orange tabby one. The brown one is looking up, somewhat upset. The other two are looking at him, also upset to some degree. The brown one says "Isn't it kinda cruel to the elders to make them into a punishment?". The second has one orange cat, looking down (at the three in the first panel) mildly frowning. Third panel, he's leaning down/forward a bit and squinting his eyes angrily while asking "Do you want an extra moon of tick duty?". The fourth panel has the brown cat looking flustered/panicked while saying "No, sir!". The grey fluffy one next to him is looking defeated.

The same as the other picture but drawn more poorly/sloppily.

Now that it's painfully clear that Sweetpea has feelings for Genericheart, I can finally post this drawing I made almost a year ago! Text is lyrics from I Do Adore by Mindy Gledhill

Stylistic drawing of two cats walking in opposite directions, their tails held up in a way that creates a vague heart shape. The cat of the left is muted light purple with darker spots and bright purple eyes. She's blushing and looking flustered, aiming her gaze towards the other cat. The other one is a brown cat with black stripes and blue eyes. He is smiling happily, facing the direction he's walking to. He seems completely oblivious to the purple cat's romantic feelings towards him. Around them are lyrics from a song called "I do adore" by Mindy Gledhill. The lyrics say "Everything you do, it sends me higher than the moon, with everything twinkle in your eye you strike a match that lights my heart on fire". These lyrics represent the purple cat's feelings towards the brown cat.

Happy Pride! I took part in a comic Pride collab!

Stylized drawing of two cats sitting next to each other, both looking happy. The cat on the left is white with pale grey paws, tail tip and spots in the corners of his eyes. His eyes are blue. The cat on the right is light grey-purple with darker grey-purple spots. Her eyes are bright purple. The cats are wearing one scarf that is colored like the bisexual pride flag. The background is a pastel rainbow.

Stylized drawing of two cats walking to the left. One cat is significantly larger than the other. He is also comically muscular. He is brown in color with darker ears, paws and tail, as well as darker oval shapes on his cheeks, making it look like stylized blushing. His eyes are yellow. He is wearing a flower on his left ear, the flower is in the bisexual pride flag colors. He has the demisexual pride flag attached to his tail. The smaller cat is light grey with orange tabby patches and blue eyes. She also has the bi flower in her ear as well as an asexual pride flag draped across her back like a cape. The cats are looking at each other, smiling. The background is a pastel rainbow.

A stylized drawing of two cats walking to the left. The leftmost cat is yellow with slightly darker markings. Her eyes are huge and reddish brown in color. She is holding her head high and looks proud and confident. She has the lesbian pride flag in her mouth. The cat on the right is a warm grey color, with their back half a darker warm grey, making it look like they're wearing pants. Their eyes are a dark reddish brown and they look happy. They have a pansexual pride flag in their mouth and their tail is painted like the non-binary pride flag. The background is a pastel rainbow.

A stylized drawing of two cats sitting next to each other, smiling and looking playful. The cat on the left is dark grey with red stripes, legs and eyes. She has two paint paw prints in the lesbian flag colors on her, one on her right cheek, one on her right flank. She has paint dripping from her raised, right paw, the paint is colored like the pansexual pride flag. The cat next to her is fluffy and black with orange tabby stripes and yellow eyes. He has two paint paw prints on his left cheek and left shoulder, colored like the pansexual flag. Paint is dripping from his raised right paw, the paint is colored like the lesbian pride flag. The implication is that these cats put each other's pride flags on them with paint. The background is a pastel rainbow.

He got struck my lightning, was fine. He got his throat slit, thrown down a ravine and laid there for like three days, was fine. Ate deathberries, was fine. He went down a raging river as a kit, fine. They even retconned Spiresight giving up his life saving Shadowkit instead of Pouncekit.

010

Turkeyflight @turkeyflight.bsky.social · 05/06/2025

I'm still convinced that they meant to make Shadowsight undying or something with how many "should've fucking died" experiences he had, then they just either forgot to actually do anything with it or chickened out but left all the crumbs anyway.

I really wonder what Princess' owners thought when one of the tiny kittens just disappeared one day. Do they think he got outside from the kitty door and was picked off by a hawk or something? One day you have four kittens. The next day one is gone and the mom cat isn't even worried or distressed.

I Generic'd @colorful87.bsky.social characters OakPaw and HoneyPaw

A simplistic drawing of two cats sitting next to each other, smiling and happy. The left cat is different shades of brown with large ears, light green eyes and a piece of fern tucked behind his right ear. The cat on the left is different shades of orange with green eyes and a green collar around her neck. The brown cat is smiling more subdued, almost sadly, while the orange cat is much more joyful

Hello, this is once again me remembering I have this account and that I can post art here. A drawing I did because I wanted a new banner for my DeviantArt profile. And then DA became so bad as a site that I left it. I still like this drawing, tho

A simplistic drawing of six cats lying on grass, all characters from my webcomic The Average Adventures of Genericheart. The leftmost cat is cream with dark brown legs, ears, tail and face. Her eyes are yellow and she also has a large, yellow collar around her neck with a silver heart tag hanging from it. She is smiling happily and blushing a little. Next to her is an orange tabby with a nicked right ear and a scar on his nose. His eyes are light green. He is leaning towards the cream cat and they're holding paws. He is blushing a little and glaring at the cat on his other side, a brown tabby. The brown tabby has blue eyes and he is smiling happily at the cat on his other side. That cat is much smaller than the others and mainly light grey. She has some light orange tabby patches on her pelt and her eyes are dark blue. She is smiling happily back at the brown tabby. On her other side is a fluffy, light grey cat with green eyes. He's smiling at the brown tabby but looks a bit nervous. On his other side is the rightmost cat, who is light purplish grey with darker purplish grey patches on her pelt. Her eyes are purple and she is turned towards the other cats, also smiling happily.

It seems to only be available in the Harper Collins US store... Warriors continues hating their international fans 😔

It's okay to like characters who do bad things. There's a reason villains are so popular. But the problem comes when you either don't see that they're bad or don't want to acknowledge it because you don't want to deal with your fav being a bad person.

130

Turkeyflight @turkeyflight.bsky.social · 04/03/2025

The Warriors fandom has a pretty big issue about liking characters who are bad people but not wanting to acknowledge they're bad. I'm assuming these are teens and younger doing it because I did it as a kid, too. But it's still disconcerting to see.

Trying to un-manifest Tawnypelt x Crowfeather by drawing CrowPool

A drawing of two cats, one dark grey with a long snout, long ears and blue eyes. The other a light brown tabby with a white face. They're touching noses and both are crying while looking sorrowful and blushing a little.

Turkeyflight @turkeyflight.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Yeah, it's just two people... 😬 All I can hope for it that they're well ahead of the publication. Otherwise that's like the same stuff Japanese mangakas are put through and they have whole teams and don't work in color and they're pushed to literal death...

Turkeyflight @turkeyflight.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

Very interested to see Squirrelflight, Leafpool and Jayfeather's designs. I also want to know if these artists know the fandom thinks Hawkfrost should be hot and if they'll cater to that lol. Though I kinda wanna see a rounder Hawkfrost, like they've drawn Tigerclaw 😆

The art is what it is but honestly the color choices for some of the backgrounds are quite pretty. The color also definitely helps distract from the cats lol

In summary: I would be very intrigued by StormClan's Folly if it was done by a fan. But I don't trust the Erins to actually make it interesting and compelling. ESPECIALLY after the messes that were Riverstar's Home and The Elders' Quest.

011

Turkeyflight @turkeyflight.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

- second romance is incredibly rushed and just goes "oh, you saved me? Would you marry me?" I also expect Galestar and Stripestar's romance to be incredibly shallow just like almost all Warriors romance.
