Van update: I want to cry. The distributor cap I ordered last year was for the older carbureted vans and trucks. This time, I ordered one listed specifically for my van's model. Also didn't fit, it's identical to the last. I'm going to try to find the right one. If not, I sell the van.

I was in Japan in April, went to a festival. Lots of the food vendors had AI banners and whatnot. That hit me hard, I hated seeing it. Was at a food truck roundup in the US a few weeks ago and at least half the trucks had exclusively AI branding.

I've had Discord Nitro for years, never thought ill of this UI. I canceled it when they pushed age verification. Now it presents me with all the locked emotes from other servers before the ones I can actually use. Go to hell with this. I don't play fomo games.

Discord reaction emoji picker. Frequently used at the top, all locked. Current server options listed, other servers listed below, all locked. There are no standard, usable emoji in the visible list. (offscreen, slightly scrolling up has a few frequently used but all standard emoji are a significant scroll down.

Bought some toothbrush holders at Nitori in Japan last year but my need for specialized toothbrushes that need holders got more intense since then, so I bought two more this year. I haven't put them in the bathroom yet. Turns out, they are a satisfying fidget toy. Weighty and clacky.

I cast my fair share of shade at a certain used game store in Akihabara for its tiny aisles and horrible prices. But tonight, they actually had a game I've spent 2 years searching for. Paid the price, but they had another at twice this cost.
