Exactly. One is chosen at random. And all are wirelessly controlled, although not all are exactly Bluetooth. Some other radio technologies are used for the piss and poppers.

Things I want to improve * The RF transmitter only has a distance of a few metres for the despair labs devices. It would stop working when Steam was not on that side of the room, so next time it’s getting mounted to the sub * I need more robust ways of physically attaching the devices to the sub

* All of the tricky coding was about making an ESP32 keep a wifi connection alive whilst also using the bluetooth. They use the same radio and that was a total pain. * I then just connect to the same wifi network on the iPad and navigate to the web server

* I also use the onboard bluetooth to trigger the DG Labs coyote. This was pretty easy copying the reference code they provide. * It runs a small web server which exposes some endpoints for activating the different outcomes. The web server also serves the UI with the wheel and config pages.

I use an ESP32 chip with a 433mhz RF transmitter to activate the despair labs devices. I had to figure out what signals they both send in order to emulate the original remotes. That was surprisingly easy.

I've been working on a diabolically geeky side project I'm calling my Wheel Of Misfortune. The sub is kitted out with electro pads on the dick/butt + the despair forced piss & forced poppers devices. An iPad behaves as a UI. The sub then becomes a portable roulette wheel of kinky consequences. 🧵
