Sounds like a good time to point out that the SEGA/Sonic fanbase still has many possible *unofficial* homes for you, in all manner of languages and focuses, with literal DECADES of experience. Consider the following locations (and beyond):

It's October - and before the inevitable race by everyone to post the guy in the black morph suit dancing to 'A Ghost Pumpkin's Soup', a reminder: That means our Main and Extra YouTube channels will be thrown over to daily updates of spooky and creepy games for 2026's TURBOWEEN!

Caved in again to get the 12.5cm Blaze Starfire now it’s a case of waiting for the trade paperback of the #SonicxDC Metal Legion where #Blazethecat is featured in 😅

So back from The Transformers The Movie 40th anniversary showing tonight and the cinema didn't get the memo that there was an extra short (Optimus Prime Awakening) at the end of movie so the lights were up for about a 2 minutes before they realised and brought the lights back down xD dummies

So TIL about a YT channel that was made in 2019 calling itself "Bullseye" and I check it being a US made channel. Jim Bowen would be rolling in his grave if he learned how the Bullseye name is being used for entertainment nowadays xD

I can’t with this week. Had been verbally abused by kids again today on shift and now I see this after yesterday’s passing of Tim Curry. I know they were both in their 80s but it doesn’t change the fact that their voices helped me get through my life.

Tomorrow on Radio Redux, it's a double length, 2 hour show. As Kevin, Urtheart and Turbo take on topics including TV adaptions, studios flying free from XBOX, why you should hire Psycho Mantis for your Marketing team, and yes... the Sonic x Fortnite nonsense. 7PM UK on @radiosega.net

Resident Evil didn't bring me into Fortinte so sure as hell Sonic isn't gonna do it either. Not even for a million £ I will ever play it.

A post of warning to #Sonicthehedgehog fans in the UK do NOT buy this unofficial magazine as it has the most blatant use of Gen A.I artwork I have ever seen. It’s £10 you can put to better use. Found at a Morrisons.

I swear the one old woman who hassles me riding my EAPC (Electrical Assisted Pedal Cycle) around town calling it a moped just because it has features of one even though there is info on the cycle stating that is an EAPC is only doing it to feel justified and being right. What a Karen she is.

Also the same Elglish VA in the new anime is the same one used for the Fatal Fury CotW DLC Kenshiro is part of now and he got the pronunciation of Hokuto right there so it is clearly a directing issue with the anime. Though I feel the VA is not the best English Kenshiro regardless.

John "Turbo" Finlay @turboxlr.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

Well I just had a fun 30 minutes to myself finding out the new Fist of the North Star's English is as bad or worse than the animation. No attempt to match lip flaps, pronouncing Hokuto as Hakuto and an old man that sounds like he is barely in his 30s 🤣

Soooo I went to see the new Masters of the Universe movie…other than the constant awkward interaction between various characters at points it’s alright I guess. Though Jared Leto hamming up being Skeletor is surprisingly the best thing about the movie. Lots a memes of him coming from this movie.

Please enlighten me of what makes it different from the near decade and a half of embarrassment of being a Sonic fan? As I no longer wander around in that cesspool of the internet.

Summary: Animation wise it looks good but characters and plot I just don’t give too fucks about and seeing as this has been a project 13 years in the making I had more fun with Duke Nukem Forever than I did watching Gameoverse. Good luck with working with Arin Hanson on this one Glitch.

John "Turbo" Finlay @turboxlr.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

Third Kit has trauma and PTSD real “original” character building after we have had the likes of Madoka Magica. Fourth the plot is just subverting the typical hero saves day concept by flipping it by needing our leading heroes stop a world’s hero from beating the villain…How is this good? 2/2

John "Turbo" Finlay @turboxlr.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

Ok I watched this new Gameoverse pilot thing. First off just cause the main character Kit is voiced by the current VA for Blaze doesn’t mean I’m gonna like her off the bat. Second Kit is just Rule 63 Furry Mega Man. Hey guys! You know Mega Man X is Arin Hanson’s fav game evar right!?!? 1/2

Just found out (by loging to collect the cards myself) that you get a reward for revealing every card for the Mario Galaxy Movie via the Nintendo Today app and its...Bowser's Painting of him and Peach as a downloadable wallpaper....Now I know what Chibidoki has on her phone now. 🤣

When I was out earlier I was waiting at a takeout for food and another person was on the phone who was visiting Scotland and they said “We went to Loch Ness and there was a guy who been trying to find Lochy for 30 years.” Lochy….ITS BLOODY NESSIE YOU IDIOT!!!! 🤣

Hope the walk all the way to a motorcycle garage today was worth it to get my e-bike tyre fixed…if not…I’m either down £500+ for someone to come up to sort it or I keep paying off a bike I can’t use 😫

John "Turbo" Finlay @turboxlr.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

I think the world is trying to tell me something after having two flat tyres on two separate bikes this week and I can’t get at least one of them worked on till Monday. So much for continuing to work my part time gig #fml
