Well goodness, Esoteric Ebb really stuck the landing for me. I didn’t see that coming.

A HUGE and HEARTFELT thank you to every single person who has bought and played (legally or otherwise) this silly game of mine. While I have had the privilege to work with so many wonderful people for the last two years, Esoteric Ebb has been a lonesome journey for me - sometimes exhausting, sometimes joyful - but lonely. Eight years of trial and error, of burning savings, of ignoring good advice, and desperately slamming fingers on keyboards until something clicked. Despite that, all of this is only possible thanks to the support of everyone who wasn't in that dark room with me: my friends and players, my family and colleagues. To all those online and those in real life who believed in the game when it was worth believing in, and even more so when it was not. Thank you for helping me grind towards something meaningful. Let's hope the next one's even better.

Interviewing @ayshaufarah.bsky.social about Dragon Age 2 was such a delight, and she was able to put into words something I couldn't articulate after getting the platinum in DA: Veilguard. "There's no weird sex pervert in that game." IT'S TRUE. Taash was the closest we came, but no dice.

I got my Switch 2 on launch day and I’ve never played it until the battery died. Yesterday I played Pokémon Pokopia so much I depleted the battery down to 3% FOUR TIMES. It’s such a special game, and the undertones about climate change and rebuilding nature feel right at home in the gameplay.

And that’s credits on RE9. What a vivid, radical, and terrifying way to bring a new numbered entry into the canon. I absolutely loved 95% of it, and the other 5% I can forgive for everything else it gave me. Top three Resident Evil game for me. I can’t wait to play it again.
