Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 06/06/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 24: Don't hide your heart (Rel. June 5th 2020) The lyrics of this song have nothing to do with the pandemic and in a way that tells a lot about the pandemic situation in that moment.tuomo.bandcamp.comDon't hide your heart, by Tuomotrack by Tuomo 120
Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 22/05/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 23: The New Normal (rel. May 22nd 2020) This was the last release of the main streak of the Quarantine Music project - there were a couple more songs in the pipeline, but they had to wait a couple of months.tuomo.bandcamp.comThe New Normal, by Tuomotrack by Tuomo 110

Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 30/04/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 20 : See you on the other side w/ Emma Salokoski & Petteri Sariola (Released Apr 30th 2020) Cousin Petteri sent me a folksy guitar riff that somehow transformed into this late 90s 4heroesque jazzy dnb track.tuomo.bandcamp.comSee you on the other side (w/ Emma Salokoski, Petteri Sariola), by Tuomotrack by Tuomo 130
Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 24/04/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 19 : Just another saturday (released Apr 24th 2020) This is my biggest "guilty pleasure" track from the project. I love making bass-heavy electronic beats for fun, even though I'm not really a club goer. I'd love to hear this from a proper sound system one day.tuomo.bandcamp.comJust another Saturday, by Tuomotrack by Tuomo 000
Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 20/04/2025 #QuarantineMusicThrowback 18 : Did you forget to be afraid today? w/Aarne Riikonen (rel. Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 16/04/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 17 : Invisible (released Apr 16th 2020) This is one of the best songs I wrote for the Quarantine Music project. I still like to play it live. It's about "essential workers" and the respect they deserve but rarely get.tuomo.bandcamp.comInvisible, by Tuomofrom the album Quarantine Music 1 100
Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 14/04/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 16: Cute Baristas w/Tommy Lindgren (rel. Apr 14th 2020) This was a banger. I’d had this silly rap verse & hook about my coffee habit lying around for years and I thought I’d probably never use it for anything, since a) I am not a rapper and b) I’m often a bit stingy…tuomo.bandcamp.comCute Baristas 2020 (feat. I think I was going for an ”Aphex Twin doing Minneapolis Funk”-vibe or something. Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 28/03/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 10 : Saturday night w/Mikko Pettinen This started from a simple groove that I asked my old bandmate, trumpet master Mikko Pettinen to play on. The groove had an early 2000s neo soul vibe to it and Mikko brought a Roy Hargrovesque vibe to it.tuomo.bandcamp.comSaturday night (w/ Mikko Pettinen), by Tuomotrack by Tuomo 220

Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 25/03/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 8 : Lil' Break feat. Bentality After the deep-end melancholy of 'Isolation' I went pretty much to the opposite end with this uplifting boogie track with nods to George Clinton and the Tom Tom Club. Also had a little De La-vibe.tuomo.bandcamp.comLil' Break feat. Bentality, by Tuomotrack by Tuomo 100
Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 24/03/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 7 : Isolation This melancholy piece was based on a beat I'd made on the MPC earlier, chopping up some acoustic guitar i sampled off an old prog rock record. It has a trip hop vibe and a lot of Moog One moodiness.tuomo.bandcamp.comIsolation, by Tuomotrack by Tuomo 110
Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 21/03/2025#quarantinemusicthrowback 6 : Space Virus This was the first collaborative effort in the Quarantine Music series. Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 18/03/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 5 : Fear Not Another old song with a title that felt newly relevant in 2020. At this point my Quarantine music project was really picking up speed and I was recording and mixing a song a day at best. It's weird how fast you can work if you focus on it completely.tuomo.bandcamp.comFear Not, by Tuomotrack by Tuomo 120
Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 18/03/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 4 : A Touch Is a Promise After the Bruce-cover I decided to go vault digging through my own songs and recovered this little funky ditty I'd written somewhere back in 2010 maybe. It felt thematically appropriate, since it also has the word 'touch' in the title.tuomo.bandcamp.comA Touch Is a Promise, by Tuomotrack by Tuomo 110
Tuomo @tuomomusic.bsky.social · 16/03/2025#QuarantineMusicThrowback 3 : Human touch The strangeness of social distancing had me thinking a lot about the importance of the proximity of other people.
