I seriously did not think I would be emotional about finishing Big Walk and yet here I am. Crying.

I always feel so appreciative of my friends, but what always makes me feel so lucky is to have the ones that make me feel so safe and loved while others have ignored me until I’m convenient again

My husband’s grandmother passed away yesterday. We saw her in the HCU Friday and Saturday but she was asleep both times, I don’t know if she heard me thank her for loving me as her own grandchild from our first meeting, in a country where many people hate immigrants.

'well gen AI is going to be in everything so you-' pause, stop, shut up my backlog could make a weaker person have a break down, i don't even need a new game. in addition to that there are more and more indie devs showing up and doing the hard work, i'll be fine

This might be really stupid, but I've decided to start back on YouTube making gaming videos with the idea that I'm something you could put on for background noise while you do whatever. My first episode of playing Paralives is now live if anyone is interested 🫶 youtu.be/D0-hfT_jgk4

(RDR) Lacy’s mother absolutely loved her, always made sure she was happy and in good care, allowed her to be a chaotic kid but also ensured that her child understood right from wrong. Absolute rockstar of a mom, honestly, Lacy loved her a lot 💕

Memorable interaction today at work: First-grader while I’m crouched down helping her with an assignment: “your head is short” Me: “…what?” Seven year old child: *proceeds to hold two fingers to either side of my forehead, bring them back to inspect and nods happily* “yup, very small.”

A lot of Orbán's American fans are saying that this election proved he was never an authoritarian in the first place. This is completely wrong — and, in fact, betrays a complete misunderstanding of both Hungarian politics and modern authoritarianism. Here's why.
