The amount of dolls (including a grail one that's rare even according to American collectors) I'm having to miss out on as I'm waiting for the Disney Dance Series to be revealed. I swear there better be at least one doll in the line that's worth it #dollsky

We finally have news about the Disney Dance Series line wave 2! Though atm only Ariel is showing on the coming soon section of EU and UK Disney stores (and nothing on the American one) so besides Ariel and Charlotte we still have no clue who else we'll be getting #dollsky

I just saw a post on the Anticonsumption subreddit titled Why Adults are Playing with Toys and I was fully prepared to see negativity in the comments. But no, most people were actually defending us and that's made me so happy

A barbie I've been wanting for ages but never comes up just came up on vinted and I was really sad cause I can't afford her atm. And then I noticed her eyes are clearly wonky so all is good

Really enjoyed unboxing these 3 beautiful dolls yesterday for this 😍 #dollsky

This month's shelf theme (or in this case shelves) is ballet/ballerinas to mark World Ballet Day on the 29th October #dollsky

I'm excited to see Fantasical Realms Barbie Re-Design is apparently still happening. Someone on reddit said the doll was shown at Barbie convention and it looks way better but no photos were allowed so of course we need to take with a pinch of salt but that's made me hopeful #dollsky

Idk how accurate this is but... What is it with Mattel and releasing 70% of their dolls planned for the year in the last 3 months? #dollsky

I've finally finished my Barbie wishlist (until I see another one I want on vinted or ebay that is) and yeah I'm definitely a 2000s barbie girl

I grew up with Barbie, have been a collector for nearly 5 years, have looked at multiple databases multiple times over the years, and yet somehow there are still Barbies that come up on ebay, vinted etc that I've never seen before #dollsky

It's time to open her ready for October's shelf theme #dollsky

It's honestly really frustrating how the black versions of barbies are stocked in retail for a lot less time than the white version. It's great they're stocked but the white ones will be available for more than a year while the black ones will often be available for 3-6 months and vanish #dollsky

Missed out on the Reflections of Light Barbie recently which is one I've been wanting for ages. Honestly she sold so fast and rarely comes up for a good price so I think she's going to have to move from wish list to grail list. But I did manage to get another grail recently!

So many things involve AI now it's become difficult to remember what does and what doesn't. I completely forgot that MGA now uses AI for their doll mockups and so the new Fianna and Kumi dolls had AI used in their process until I saw a post on reddit this morning.

I love her....minus the bangs they're a bit too stark. Though they could probably be dyed. Not that I have any hope of them being sold here #dollsky

Got the final princess from the Children's Collector Series. I wasn't too fussed about getting her as I already have multiple Rapunzel dolls but I told myself I'd get her if she came up for a good price and she did! And now that I have her, I love her more than I expected to #dollsky

Yeah I definitely need another Akiko, I took her top off (or whatever it's called) put it down next to me for idk a minute and now it's vanished 🤷‍♀️

Someone on youtube said you can easily separate Akiko's paws from her arm cuffs so I tried it and turned out it wasn't easy at all (at least on mine) and I cut the paws. So now I need a new Akiko. But all is good cause that means I can use the one I have for customising and just get a replacement

I wish people would stop acting like a doll having saran means it's worth collector price. No a doll is not worth $20, $30, $40 etc more than a playline doll just because it has saran instead of poly. Saran does not cost that much

Tulip Rose @tuliprosedolls.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

After acquiring 25th Reimagined Cloe I now have all of the core 4 but I need another Jade. I have Crystalicious Jade and whilst the doll is beautiful it doesn't scream Jade imo. Plus the other 3 girls are all in casual clothing so I need a Jade that will match with them better.

I have 5 dolls still in their boxes, 3 out of box but not posted, one on the way and I'm going doll shopping soon. I really need to start posting them and catching up on the backlog 😅

Got a new doll (I say new she's been on my shelf for over 2 months.) Ballet Masquerade Barbie. Got her for a good deal as she's missing her masquerade mask and her arm had to be stuck back on by the seller which tbh is barely noticeable and the feathers are covering it anyway #dollsky

Tim Curry has returned to the ‘Barbie’ franchise to voice the Rat King's father in its new ‘Nutcracker’ film. The role marks his final voice-acting performance recorded before his passing.

Ok, I had no interest in the new Barbie in the Nutcracker film but to find out that Tim Curry voiced the rat king's father is so bittersweet and is kinda making me want to watch it #dollsky

Unfortunately I don't know much about him other than his works with some musical artists and Barbie. In honour of his passing here are some of my favourite Bob Mackie Barbies. Brunette Brilliance has always reminded me of Yzma and Arctic of the Snow Queen tale💖 #dollsky #dolls #barbie #bobmackie

This whole time I thought I had a Bratz Fianna cause that's what she was sold as, she's wearing Fianna's Funk Out outfit and whenever I posted her saying she's Fianna no one ever said anything. But I went to check which Fianna doll she is and she doesn't match any. So who is she? #dollsky

I will say, my issue with this is that if you were to remove the box I don't think a lot of people would be able to guess it's a holiday doll. She looks like she'll stick out amongst the others. That being said there's nothing stopping me from displaying her a different time instead #dollsky

I got the Barbie Children's Collector Series Rapunzel yesterday and whilst she's absolutely beautiful there's just one problem. Her hennin (princess hat) makes her too tall to fit on the shelf with the rest of the series #dollsky
