Was randomly unpacking some mail and this popped out, so I guess it counts as #RandomGameSaturday? Don't usually post these, and anyone reading probably never heard of this game, but I can't miss a chance to praise an unmatched cinematic platformer for the Amiga — ENEMY: TEMPEST OF VIOLENCE

instead of saying more of the same, I just want to add to this that because Alone in the Dark 2008 went so hard on its "prestige TV" presentation, it has a DVD style chapter selection that lets you even SKIP PARTS OF EACH EPISODE bsky.app/profile/lave...

Alone in the Dark 2008 has awful dialogue, shitty characters, thin plot, 2 endings and both suck, but I love it controls are jank and the drive to central park truly tests you before it opens up to being the only survival horror game that lets you feel like MacGyver just don't play the PS2/Wii ver

it's pretty good, it isn't flashy, has a control options for buttons or swipes, some rule toggles, and you can even enable an endless mode where the speed never increases that got me into trying to reach a 24-hour game across many short daily sessions my longest and last attempt fell short by 1h15

Behind it, the number of lines shows 16796, and the score is slightly obscured but it might be 3770046 (2 hours earlier it was 3365956).

Seems like the timer field wasn't prepared for such a long playtime, as the second digit of the seconds is on another line.

Posted about Jurassic Park for the Master System before: bsky.app/profile/tugl... So Sonic & Knuckles it is: for a long time, I used to stop playing the moment I finished Act 1 of Sandopolis Zone, bc the ghosts inside the pyramid in Act 2 freaked me out, and it was stressful to keep the lights on.

Of note that Sonic has 43 lives, so this screenshot was most certainly taken from someone playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I, too, would be more confident going into this level with a SAVE SYSTEM and ALL THOSE LIVES. Heck, he also has 51 rings, I bet he's about to double jump and turn into Hyper Sonic. Yeah, I'm also *accusing* this player of playing on a completed save slot with all 14 emeralds! Watcha gonna do about it?!

Found one of my submission for The Conduit's "design a Wii control scheme" contest. The prize was "we'll feature your layout in the game!", which sounded silly, so I did it, for practice

Random find in Panzer Dragoon Saga just now: at the top floor of the bar in Zoah, there's a tiny interactive area without a Far/Near marker. Using it will exit the screen into the bottom floor. You can quickly navigate some areas by using doors from a distance, but there's no visible door here.

Why you should delete that?
1. You post that link on social media, Google crowler finds it, checks the database and now it knows this account on other social media belings to you.

In yet another "Panzer Dragoon Saga is so good" instance: the game not only has a reasonable encounter rate, it also lets you know if the area you're flying in has no random encounters (blue), or the likelihood of getting into one (yellow, red, flashing red) via its flight radar.
