Lisa the Painful... what to say, super short, with some very strong themes... overall a good game though. We move onto a Wingman redeem, 4x game Archipelago! ALttP, DK3, FFMQ, and Castlevania CotM. ALttP must be cleared at the minimum! Milestones: Game finished W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - archipelago!

So long Langrisser 4, I'll miss you... seriously. Hello to Lisa the Painful, its quirky, VERY dark, and sprinkle in some questionable moral choices. Here's but one of them, you ever sacrificed an arm to keep an ally alive? Milestones: Halfway through Act 2 TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Lisa the Painful DE

Route C down! Holy moly it was tough. While we didn't meet the requirements for Route B... level select works! While sad to see it go for real (this time), looking forward to starting our next game! Lisa the Painful! Milestones: 2 of 3 clears! W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Langrisser 4 Sotn coop race?

More Sotn Coop 2v2 race shenanigans coming up! I'll be playing on Saturday noon Cst, and there's another set of races on Sunday the same time!

000

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Finished Route A of Langrisser IV. We sadly didn't meet the requirements for Route B, but did for Route C. We should wrap up the game itself by the weeks end, and start on our next game, the poll winner! Lisa the Painful! Milestones: Stage 21C! W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Langrisser 4 Sotn coop race?

How was your month? A nice variety this month.

000

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Steadily making progress in Langrisser 4, we have stuck to path A, and eventually will do all 3! Interesting how this has less endings. Milestones: Stage 22A! W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Langrisser 4 I have another Sotn coop race on Wed. 5pm cst! I might be hosting again on Friday as well, fun times!

010

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Wow, # surprisedpikachuface, already the next match has been setup. See you at 5pm Cst to face off again Eldri7ch and RenantrL of Team: Power of Instinct!

Yay, we won 2-0 in our races today! These are super fun, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the tournament <3

Getting ready to start the day (in 45~ min) with a 2 v 2 coop sotn randomizer race! While you're always welcome at my stream, if you head on over to www.twitch.tv/eldri7ch , you'll be able to hear commentary for the race AND all 4 players in a split screen view!

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I'm going to be in a Sotn 2v2 coop randomizer tournament soon. I don't know the exact start date (we're getting close though), and I'm really excited to partake in this. It's 100% for funsies, and hosted by @eldri7ch.bsky.social . Here's a bit more info on it.

010

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Langrisser 4 continues to be pretty awesome, a LOT more story than one would expect honestly. Music continues to set the mood. Milestones: Stage 17a! (Maybe we'll do all 3 endings?) W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Langrisser 4 We also have a Sotn coop race starting next? week, more deets as they come in!

020

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Langrisser 4, its very fun, amazing music, and no permadeath! The movement system changed quite a bit, a square is broken up into 1/4ths, and everyone has fe's canto! More depth! Having more than kill all objectives is nice too! Milestones: Stage 9 AND level 9! W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Langrisser 4

Helped Ifrit succeed in getting his power back, and bringing peace to the lands in Arabian Nights. Started Langrisser 4, the change in movement (compared to 1&2, since 3 never came stateside or translated) is a bit jarring, but the music is so good. Watching the units fight has always made me laugh

020

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Arabian Nights, it came in hot, and already leaving this week. What an interesting unknown rpg for the SFC. Multiple endings too! Can't wait to see which we actually get. Milestones: Final zone unlocked? mid 40's W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Arabian Nights, and than we'll move onto maybe Langrisser 4?

020

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Sands of Destruction is already nearly over, fun times were had, although, more puzzle oriented than I'd like. Characters and combat were really good. My only gripe is reserve members don't get skill points. Milestones: Ding 51, final dungeon unlocked? W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - SoD, but what's next?

Another month gone, and another list of games taken down. How did your month fare?

020

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 1 was a LOT of fun, I look forward to playing 2 and 3 before the new game in December. That said, we finished and moved onto Sands of Destruction, a game that had an anime and manga... kinda wild. Milestones: Ding Level 15! W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Sands of Destruction

001

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 1 has been a lot of fun. Its always a blast to name everything after friends and followers. I'm having fun catching and combining everything! Milestones: 8 of 10 darkonium gathered. W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - DQM:J + what's next?? Su? - 1pm~ cst - Sotn randomizer maybe?

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Metal Max Returns down! Twas a fun snes era rpg that got a fan translation, allowing a wider audience to play it. Tomorrow I move onwards to a new game that seems to be beloved by anyone who's played this translation... Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 1. I'm looking forward to another new experience.

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Metal Max Returns has been pretty fun, and while its an early game in the series (I've played Xeno Reborn), its nice seeing some item names and vehicles pop up. Milestones: Unlocked final dungeon? W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Metal Max Returns finale? than what's next? Su? - 1pm~ cst - Sotn randomizer

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Utawarerumono: P & P Rediscovered beaten, it was a fun time. You can definitely enjoy the series without it and Monochrome ever being played though. Onwards to Metal Max Returns! Milestones: Full party, 2 of 3 in tanks. W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Metal Max Returns Su? - 1pm~ cst - Sotn randomizer

000

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

Oh whoops, I managed to beat Utawarerumono very late last night, and now have to choose a new game... well, time for Metal Max returns!

How was your June? Note the Necromancer clears cleared the intended challenge for the school, not necessary beating said game (If you're interested to know more, ask me, or search for @sarzac.bsky.social as he has hosted it the last 3 years, 115 games to pick and play).

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Our journey in Utawarerumono is slowly coming to a close. It's been a great game if you're a fan of the series. This is VERY story heavy... it makes some visual novels blush, so be aware! Milestones: Chapter 13, level 70. W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Utawarerumono Su? - 1pm~ cst - Sotn randomizer

000

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

Enjoying the little bits here and there learned in the new Utawarerumono. I'm also excited to see how the story continues to shape up and what else unfolds. I wager another week to finish~ Milestones: Chapter 10, level 44. W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Utawarerumono Su? - 1pm~ cst - Sotn randomizer

000

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

Loving the new Utawarerumono game. Its always nice (and rare) that a game is in the same world, with the same people but new events (funny cause the last game I played did this huh). Milestones: Third obelisk down, level 25. W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Utawarerumono Su? - 1pm~ cst - Sotn randomizer

000

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

Yay, we saved the world again in Persona 2:Eternal Punishment last night! It was nice seeing our familiar casts from 1 and 2:IS throughout the game. Looking forward to the newest Utawarerumono. Milestones: Beat it, level 78. W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - Utawarerumono Su? - 1pm~ cst - Sotn randomizer

030

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

Still rocking out in Persona 2:Eternal Punishment, so I'm going to do a last chance stream tonight on an off day due to having surgery soon and having to take a hiatus for 2-3 weeks. No worries, its nothing serious Milestones: Level 48 obtained, made it back to dry land T.T M - 930pm cst - P2 EP

000

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

Having a good time in Persona 2:Eternal Punishment. Familiar world and people, but a new adventure. Mechanically the same as Innocent Sin. Combat seems faster as well. Milestones: Level 20 obtained, casino restored, 5 dungeons down. W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - P2 EP Su? - 1pm~ cst - Sotn randomizer

March down, another list of games completed. How did you fair this time around? FFD was incredible, I wish there was an easier way to play it. While for TMS, I broke out the ole WiiU. I didn't quite finish Octopath 0 or Fantasy Life i, but they'll be added to this month, including FF Legend 1.

020

tuffymon @tuffymon.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

With FF Dimensions down, we're back to Destiny of an Emperor 2. It's funny, we're not even trying to unify China, its just trying to stop Cao Cao from taking it all. Milestones: Lu Bu is helping defend our castle so we can advance forth. W/TH/F/S - 930pm cst - FFD Su? - 1pm~ cst - Sotn randomizer

Annnnnd that's a wrap, Tokyo Mirage Session finally down, time to add another feather in the cap for the ole #Backloghaters club. Fun game, obviously the playstyle is heavily SMT based, but the lore being FE based. Really a shame that neither the original nor rerelease had English voice acting added

My normal 4 1/2~ hour stream turned into 7... but Final Fantasy Dimensions down, and holy moly what a game. It was an incredible ride down to the finish line. Please @square-enix-games.com release this on steam with native controller support.

Had to break out the ole Wii U to play this month's game of the month... Tokyo Mirage Session... you know how weird it is to continue an old file and see something like this? This would probably be the oldest game save I've gone back to continue (with the intention of completing). What's yours?
