Really chuffed that The Room, Autocamper, Tigers and Flies, The Amber List/Echoes of the Bunnymen, Ginnel & The Opening Song have come forward to complete this great line-up for Ana Maria Nazario, a huge and valued supporter of TLB shows and other indie-pop gigs all over the country.

Top tier line up at The Continental in Preston tonight. @themonochromeset.bsky.social have put out more quality new material since returning in 2010 than any other revived post-punk band. Few tickets left on the door, so turn up early to bag one & also catch the wonderful & storied 14 Iced Bears.

I hope to get to this show in Lancaster next week, Two favourites playing, Alex from Trembling Bells and Dan Haywood. Not sure how Alex is presenting, but I read that Dan's putting together something resembling a full band show. Should be ace!

Manchester Popfest was already going to be excellent this year, and they've now added BMX Bandits. There are loads of new bands I'm looking forward to discovering as well as Gina Birch from Raincoats, Trash Kit making a welcome return, & The Cords. June 26th - 28th, well worth £66 for three days.

Been at Preston hospital with my 91 year old Dad (he's had an operation but he's OK). When you get to the end of the little lane leading out of the hospital car park, the first thing you see is this tasteful poster from some thoughtful capitalist pigs.
