Camille emails: Hello Trucker, I'd like to confirm if you're the author of this book Bad Fire: A Memoir of Disruption? Tucker replies: Soon I'll be the author, I hope. The ideas were downloaded and printed on-demand. The idea cluster looks like a decorative bar of soap that will fizz when dropped in water: I think they call it a "bath bomb." This purchase has indeed left the warehouse on a truck. According to the delivery tracking, it's "in transit," but due to the truckers' strike, I don't expect it'll be out for delivery today. Until I receive it and take a close look at the Acknowledgments page, I won't know for sure if I'm the author. Would you like me to give you the tracking number so you can confirm for yourself when it arrives?

Our dog pulled a muscle in his paw on Sunday night while playing too hard. He's still being careful, telling us what his limits and needs are, and voluntarily getting lots of rest (though every morning is naptime anyway). I am so proud of him.
