A local conservative group on FB was demanding a rock in front of the high school be removed or painted over. My reply had a snowball’s chance in hell of being approved, so I posted it as my status. Our kids deserve to be heard.

Reading comments in different social media platforms, made by MAGAts,about tariffs, the dismantling of our country & the chaos that's going on.The comments they're making basically say that all of this is "short term pain for longterm gain."MAGATs really are simple minded prey mesmerized by the snake.

Need a new recipe? This is a great salad. It's quick and easy, and is good as a main dish or a side dish. Leftovers taste even better the next day when the flavors meld. We're having Cool Beans salad with ham and crescent rolls this evening. www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/cool...

My daughter and 8 yr old granddaughter Lyla are taking me and my husband out for lunch today, for my birthday yesterday. My granddaughter wants to learn to crochet, so I'm taking some yarn and a hook. I'll teach her how to chain and make a single crochet stitch. This makes my ❤️ sing! 😍

Over 15 years ago, I paid off our mortgage. It hurt for a while, but it has paid off repeatedly. Our car is paid for. We have no credit 'hangover' from over spending at Christmas. We owe no one money, except for the usual monthly bills. In times like this, it's priceless.
