The first free games felt bad but the Canes are stressing to feel like themselves again. MTL is a really talented team. They're fun to watch.

ENG & a Svech goal? Perfection.

This is not fun hockey.* *For me, specifically.

I was prepared for a little bit of a slow start to the season but the Canes are pretty disappointing so far. Other than a few minutes here or there is like they're just going through the motions.

010

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

It's a better start at least!

001

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I mean, it's only 3 goals y'all.

000

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Try not to give up another goal in 10 seconds challenge!

000

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Maybe the Canes don't want Jarvis to think they were having too good of a time without him.

040

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Bussi isn't having a good game but that one wasn't on him.

050

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Fucking finally! Aho, leading by example!

030

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

If you think about it, there are 2 more games this season than last season. So when you think about it, the Canes are just using the extra two for, I don't know, practice?

010

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I've seen the Canes play a worse period of hockey before, but not this season.

020

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

This is going to sound harsh but I really don't care for how the Canes have started this game.

140

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I feel like Bussi could have that one. Just watched the replay. He could have.

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

On the bright side, the Caps aren't likely to score another goal that way. #LetsGoCanes

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

My guess is Aho, but maybe Jarvis at this rate?

020

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

They might score in the Bruins/Rangers game before they do in this one at this place.

020

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

First goal of the NHL season is scored in the 2nd game of the season.

020

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Canes love having the other team start a period with a PP. I can't back that up with actual statistics but it sure feels like it happens a lot. #LetsGoCanes #Canes

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Canes more than tripled their SOG total but it's still a barely acceptable number at this point.

030

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I guess a show start could have been expected, but I sure didn't. More SOGs, please! #LetsGoCanes

The color commentator on the Panthers game is awful!

It's too damn soon, Walmart!

I haven't posted a picture of my cats in a while. This is June. She's named after one of our other cats. She's feisty and full of life. She only likes to be held occasionally and usually after dinner. #CatsofBluesky

This is a picture of our cat, June. She's a little grey and white tabby and she's just the cutest thing ever! (I am biased though.) This is a close-up of her little face. She's probably about 7 pounds, so pretty small.

. @josiahtracks.bsky.social I'm not on Twitter anymore and I suspect you don't check this account (if it's even really yours) but I was hoping to get you to listen to James the Seventh. She has a new EP out today and I really like it. The song Goofy is maybe my favorite.

All things considered I think Hellebuyck married the team better. The Canes have proven that you don't need a Vezina- caliber goalie to win the Cup. But what if you did have one? I'm not sure I want to give up Niki to make it happen, but I also trust GMET to make the best decision for the team.

Had tickets to see one of my favorite bands, @thebeths.bsky.social , live for the first time last night but I've got the same dumb cold that kept me from going to the Canes watch party, so I didn't go. I hope I get another chance to see them! I love their music so much! I bet they're fantastic live.

Omg, if this trend continues they'll need to put a team in Mexico soon!

I don't have words. I'm so happy for my favorite hockey team, for me, for the players, and for Brind'amour especially. I just... wow. It's a perfect hockey memory. #SoundTheSiren

VGK need to pull the goalie. Canes need to take advantage of it! #SoundTheSiren

Canes look great! They're playing a really disciplined game but are still taking chances at times. I don't feel comfortable with a 2 goal lead. #SoundTheSiren

Jim C. @tubamaba.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

Logan Stankoven is one of the best pick ups the Canes have ever made! Tenacious isn't strong enough a word! I love that guy! #SoundTheSiren Great shot by Blake too!

Canes need a 2nd just like the last game! #SoundTheSiren

A lot of icing but they're handling the pressure well. I feel like that might be part of the game plan. #SoundTheSiren
