In the centre, a quote says I started using this service when i was struggling to see a-lot of good in my everyday life, and struggled to sleep.

I felt anxious with the thought of seeing people everyday, i saw the world against me and i had no value in my own self worth.

This service gave me mechanisms that helped me see the world for what it is, not the nightmares i would imagine, not people plotting against me.

These mechanisms have helped me stop these thoughts before they manifest. They helped me find the triggers in my life that were causing all these negative thoughts.

It helped me open my eyes so i could make the changes i needed to be happy. And since then its like a weight has been lifted.

This isnt easy, but it is work that you need to do to help yourself.

In the centre, a quote says Following a change in my antidepressants, I was advised to try Talking Therapies whilst I waited for my new medication to start having the desired effect. I was a little unsure if this would help to me. However, I decided to give it a try. I found the appointment was very good. I was given the time to explain my depression. I came away feeling much better. I had vocalised my problems and worries.I felt much lighter, even after just one appointment. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with depression. Thank you.

Us, if we were allowed to literally shout about Talking Therapies from the rooftops. (Health and Safety team said no. There were too many risk assessments.🙄) Guess we'll stick to social media and community events! 🖱️rdash.nhs.uk/services/nhs-talking-therapies

I left a relationship that had made me feel very unsafe..

Accessing over the phone talking therapy support with Andy has helped beyond anything I could've hoped for. It gave me space to collect and process my thoughts and time to reflect on the discussions we had and how best to implement different strategies.

A few months on from the end of my sessions I can honestly say it has had such a positive impact. It really helped me to see what was within my control and what wasn't and to let a lot of things go. I feel more resilient, more able to hold my boundaries without fear and so much lighter from not allowing myself to be affected by this person anymore.

I highly recommend this service.

Thank you.
