iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

ooh i see, i haven't but I assume that's bc i pledged a tier above

Yeah, a lot of people no longer have access to their indiegogo code to see their package status, and for a while after initial people got their rewards, the "tracking" spreadsheet fully stopped updating (I had checked). No clue if anyone has started receiving stuff again now though

fyi about the artist, its not like. 'might' be a shotacon. they 1000% were. but the severity is best judged by an individual on what they would tolerate, but i personally would absolutely not

- Seems like this third party will try to fulfill the digital obligations - also claims they have no ties to original kickstarter? Very dubious details here. - promises of merch fulfillment (again) this december. (third promise we've gotten like this) - No updates to the actual backers themselved

- Head artist is anonymously exposed to be a prior shotacon (dubious as the doc is no longer up, and that's best to be judged by your own jurisdiction, but I personally find it too far) - Vocatone transfers ownership to a third party (other workers on the team)

- No one wants to claim ownership of indiegogo - Kickstarter's goal might've not even be for the program in the first place - offers a dubious refund form that might not even be viable - Vocatone CEO steps down, to the in-house artist.

So sorry!!! I barely check my main here, to put it in simple terms: - Another callout about lack of updates - the ceo of Misbah and vocatone falling out - extreme mismanagement of both work and funds (understatement) - indubiously there are legitimate legal concerns from almost every angle here

I will acknowledge that you can argue that continuation of fanart for OLIVER can be considered advertisement for his update no matter how little of his original remains in it. That's a fair opinion to have, and may be hypocritical of me. For that, I don't really have a response.

A witch hunt will only hurt everyone involved more, both practically and emotionally. I cannot dictate your actions and it's not my place to decide if it's wrong or not, however there will be more results through other avenues.

I am just clarifying my feelings on the matter. Ignoring the legal basis to go against the collection of companies/teams involved, do NOT harass or send threats to the people involved. You can feel both sympathetic and betrayed- positive and negative emotions are not seperate,

1110

As a disclaimer: I do not necessarily approve or like those who sexualize fictional minors, but usage of characters with ties to real children regardless of distance is where I draw the line- and believe you should as well. I am not calling for persecution of the people involved

1120

I have always been EXTREMELY vocal against the use of OLIVER in sexual terms from when I was his age to now, and that will never change. There is a clear difference between the sexualization of voice banks who in official terms are minors and material made from real children.

My conclusion: everyone's the asshole here and that's unchangeable no matter of information that comes out henceforth. I've had people ask in regards to if I'm continuing to be an Oliver fan artist, and that stays unchanged, as they no longer profit from the VOCALOID OLIVER.
