Updated Bios Ref! Its honestly less of a ref at this point and more of a (attempted) explanation of whatever this thing is tbh, i got carried away at some point lol ^_^

Bio's full reference drawing.

I am unable to fit all the Alt Text into one image, so i had to split it up into the 3 other parts in this post.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Parts 1 out of 3 (Design and Character Description).

Bio is a short green humanoid, they wear a sleeveless uniform, and lacks arms as well as a lower-half.

Their character description goes as follows:

"Bio is a biological enigma created by Caretaker. They've spent most of their life working for the A.I as a engineer and student. Bio idolizes It greatly, always trying to make Caretaker proud!
They recently got assigned to a very important job, one that will change everything."

Parts 2 out of 3 (Anatomy)

There are 2 sections talking about what Bio is.

The top one talks about their structure, and shapeshifting properties.
The first description goes as follows:

"Bio's structure is very strange. Their mostly made out of a acidic, semi-solid material.
Their outer layers mimic skin and muscle. Due to it's boneless nature, they have the consistency comparable to a cephalopod. The inner layers (also known as the core) is the part of Bio that does everything else. It acts as THE internal organ, pumping blood, providing cognitive function, etc.!
This is also how Bio is able to reshape themself! Nerves can reach out and retract, mimicking limbs, a head, and other sorts of stuff. Though, Bio struggles to form more than 3 segments at once…
(Much to their creators disappointment.)"

Near the text box, it shows some of the different limbs Bio has created, a diagram of how the core looks, as well as Bio in a blob form (because i didn't know where else to put them).

Below all of that, there is another section talking about Bio's blood.
The second description goes as follows:

"Bio's blood is also very unique. Their blood has similar properties to another substance called Starfuel.
Both can power machines with little cost, though Bio differs due to how their blood can decay. Said decay is shown by it turning into a fading vapor."

Near the text box, it shows some drawings related to it. (Such as Bio bleeding, and some drawings showing how it flows/decays)

$Parts 3 out of 3 (Emotions and the Catalyst) This final section is just about the smaller things i couldn't attach to the other two. Emotion Description: "Bio changes color based off emotion. (I don't have a reason for this one, its just cool! :3)" To the left, it shows a small chart, showing the 6 different pallets Bio can shift to. Each one having its own little effects to help it stand out more from the rest. The Catalyst Description: "The Catalyst is something deeply tied to Bio. It pops up a bit throughout some of their abilities!" To the right, it shows the Catalyst. It is a rather large 4-pointed star, that fractalizes inward in a green to blue to green pattern. Around it, there are a few semi-related doodles to it (because i need to fill in space ~_~").$

Had to update some art so i could put it on a portfolio

Thought abt keeping this in the cellar but i'm forced to have to put this design into the wood chipper tbh What the hell was i doing with their coat :sobbing:

A outfit design for Bio. Based off their later years, and "The Martyr" piece i made for them awhile back. The color pallet is limited to black, red, cyan, and green.

Bio wears a trench coat, a sunhat that shadows their face, and a weapon they keep on their back.
Above Bio, there are 2 4-pointed stars. The first one is split in half, and mimics a set of horns. The second, smaller one hangs in the center of it.

The one of the bottom left is just a amorphous shape, flowing and ebbing in random directions.

I finally finished Caretakers ref!! (the UI was a PAIN, but we ball i guess)

Caretakers full reference drawing!

Caretaker appears as a bright orange smiley face, with several black lines stemming out of their eyes, and mouth. It is surrounded by pixels of the same color, either appearing as random squares and lines, or in the same shape as some of the black lines that are on Caretaker.

General Design Notes:
⌖ Parts of Caretaker break off, leaving glitched areas.
⌖ When on a non-black background: particles will emit from glitched areas.

Character Description:
"Caretaker is the AI in charge of The Bunker. It controls almost all of the machinery, and uses its authority to work towards a better future!
During the last few years... Caretaker has been trying to raise a creation, as well as getting ready for their Magnum Opus."

A Haul-I is a basket-shaped robot, carried by 3 magnetic rings. It has a circular camera, with 4 lines coming out from it in a + formation.
The top is empty, with the midway point being marked with a line. The bottom also has markings, with a crosshair having 4 diagonal lines coming out of it in a x formation.

Scrapper's are robots with 4 legs, a hollow top-half, and a long claw to collect things. A small note shows that the claw, and all of the joints that connect to it, are magnets.

An administrator Haul-I is the less energy-efficient, and orange copy of its average counterpart. The 4 lines that come out of the front now glow faintly, and the lines of the crosshair on the bottom extend to the edges. The magnetic rings its supported by also gain a distorted effect.

Administrator Scrappers are the more flashy, and orange, form of their normal counterpart. The magnets connected to it gain a fragmented appearance, and it gains markings around its front half, and lower legs.
Its claw seems more triangular, and the 3rd magnet gains an eye symbol on it.

An administrator droid is the slightly taller, and orange, counterpart of the Droid. It has extended legs, its antenna shines brighter, and the top of it gains more markings.

Brutus is a hulking minotaur-esk homunculi, with long arms, a wide frame, and a bovine skull for a head. They wear a stitched, unbuttoned short sleeve coat, bandages around their hands, and jorts.

It shows their front, back, and side, aswell as some trivia on the character.

Character Description:
"Brutus is a protector, through and through. He was born in the gutters, and watched it change throughout the years. They've contributed to a lot of things in the layer, and has gotten a reputation because of it. Some groups like him, others just want them gone.
At the end of the day, Brutus only cares about Knot, Ember, and the rest of the community they live with."

Knots Ref I need to draw this tincan more lol

Knot's Reference Drawing

Knot is a homunculi that wears bits of rusty metal that gives them a humanoid shape. From the holes in the metal, crimson strands emerge and spread out. Knots 'face' seems to be 2 white eyes coming out of their head piece.

It shows their front and back, as well as some trivia on the character.

Character Description:
"Knot is a homunculi made entirely out of organic thread. This allows them to fight/restrain foes much stronger than them!
Though, this is at the cost of having no defense (especially to slashing attacks). To compensate, they wear a metal shell to protect their vitals. He is a life-long friend of Brutus, sharing a very strong bond with them."

Design Notes:
ⓧ Knot can have more/less threads shown here.
ⓧ He usually has threads stick out of both arm holes.
ⓧ They sound like a violin (understood by most people).

Embers Ref! This took longer than i thought it would, but the next 2 should go by quicker!! (Mostly bc i don't have to draw their STUPID hair made by a STUPID person.... stupid... /silly)

Ember is a humanoid homunculi, fitted with bright fiery hair, a cracked welders mask, and scrappy clothing. They are covered in scars and markings, have white hoofs, and their left arm is replaced with 3 tendrils.

It shows their front, back, and sides. As well as some trivia about the character, and some design quirks they have.

Character Description:
"Ember is quite infamous in the Crimson Kingdom. A once nobody who defeated a number of the groups ruling over the Gutters!
They live with Knot & Brutus on the outskirts, due to their less-than-favorable position with the law.."

Design Notes:

ⓧ Ember is able to change the length of their tendrils.
ⓧ Their hair is expressive.
ⓧ They have a singular eye (on their right).
