iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Sam has always been a great artist, but he just keeps getting better and better. Look at this fantastic cover (the guts of the book are pretty good too 😉).

Nope. I've got the soap thing, Brother - and Grant's right, I cautiously tried some and they were damn good. Mind you, it's fresh cilantro that hits me with the solid Lifebouy. 😝

Now that could truly be a worthy new take on Network. 🤔

Kalshi over/unders on whether the prisoner whimpers / visibly soils themselves / which way they slump, etc... This vile shit is straight outta some of most grim-dark settings I've ever worked on. I wish I could say unbelievable.

It really, really sounds like somebody is projecting here, "He just wants to get out of town with as much as he can steal, and then lead a quiet life." 🤔

Yeah, bad as that stuff is, it is SO much better than the required liquids were even a decade ago.

God-DAMN ZOMBIES! Not you guys too!

I'm so happy you got Mark Strong - he's so good and that iconic voice! 🥰

TS Luikart @tsluikart.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Somewhat ironically, I instantly thought - 'thought bubbles'. 🤗

"Damn, girl! You must be the Goddess of Perfection."

You wanna see a truly great Manos? Check out the animated Seis Manos on NetFlix. I think you'd love it, Gail. Here's the Elevator Pitch: Orphans raised by a martial arts master are plunged into mystery involving demonic powers, drug cartels, ancient rituals and blood sacrifice.

I'm not surprised - I have An Infinity of Ships and I've long been a fan of Banks' work. I think of him often, of late. Would loved to have read his acerbic take down of present politics. 🤔

That's a really happy name for such a ship, though. I would have called it something like: 'By the Pricking of My Thumbs'. 😉

WIRED is big enough to contain multitudes. This particular article was under Will Knight's AI Lab Newsletter heading. A lot of folks that follow that part of WIRED's coverings are interested in AI - as opposed to the reporters that can't stand it; you know, the sensible ones.

Ooo, really like that particular ship, Rob. Looks like bad news. 🤗

It's a deep glimpse into MAGA/right-wing conspiracy brain. It only makes sense if you're deep in their weird, hot-house paranoid circles - then it all comes together.

Yep, Howler's gonna die, just a matter of time.

How long till we learn Horace drinks fresh, hot glue regularly? Glue made from horses, of course.

Kid's got Bazooka in his name, Gail - I don't think he'll go down without a big fight.

Lovely! Those partridges have left the pear tree.

What size Death Star will those power? (🤗 - I kid, very cool!)

Dan & Kblaney had the right of it. But yeah, that guy, classic example. 🤗

Thank you for filling in, sir. 😉

That right there, Kasey, is a classic example of a Sea Lion - right down to a "I've been nothing but civil" comment.

The total bullshit that the Supreme Court just dropped on this election cycle. Whatever else happens, this court must be brought to heel.

One of the hardest projects I ever worked on was a pulp fantasy story. Figured it was in my general milieu, should be fine. It was so tough. Ole' Bob Howard makes it looks so easy. 🤗 Satisfying though, taught me a lot. Suspect trying out a romance would do likewise!

I don't think it's cope. Johnson is fundamentally a weak man, a total back bencher pushed forward by circumstances. His go-to power move is running away. He'll crack and crumble long before he commits to any action that will make him personally liable.

Nine Anime that Shaped Me - no order:

Covers of anime movies - My Neighbor Totoro, Fist of the North Star, Apothecary Diaries, Riding Bean, Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Princess Mononoke, Macross, and Ninja Scroll

You're correct, but Doublefine's whole-chested 'they aren't the problem, you are' was awesome (though not at all unexpected) to read.

Slight correction: he can't read print media. 🤗

Considering how incredibly rude he's been on multiple occasions, somebody would've said something - their utter reticence to say anything indicates (to me) orders to keep their mouths shut for fear of losing access. I say, it would be worth any price to tell him where to stick it to his face.

They're bosses have flat-out ordered them not to.

Anybody that tries to deface and/or remove said arch.

000

Is it nuts that a degenerating brained selfish narcissistic ego wounded man would do this? Or is it what is truly upsetting that an entire political party would, despite oaths to the contrary, prove to be utterly spineless, and just let him proceed, constitutional checks and balances be damned? 🤔

Ed, you had me at 'my upcoming book'. 🤗

This isn't meant to be a jokey answer, but I'm pretty certain the difference is not unlike girl's dolls and boy's action figures.

Now that is a grim thought. A land of hills, daily wooded, under an uncaring gray sky, with nary a garden to be seen. Unless they like a challenge? 🤔

It looks fantastic, Duncan. I loved the video game Rebellion did, still play it occasionally. Looking forward to the movie!
