Your Forgejo sits behind Anubis (anti-bot proxy, served via openresty). I confirmed it challenges API traffic too — even GET /v2/ and manifest inspect get back a 200 text/html JS-challenge page, chunked, with no Content-Length. Docker's client tolerates that; podman (which your docker shim actually is) does not. The uploads themselves (PUT) pass through fine, which is why blobs landed server-side in the first place.

spent all day migrating neovim to new vim.pack plugin manager from lazy.nvim and now it starts slower than before. nice
