I think this is caused by an expired OAuth session. Could you log out of Rocksky, log back in, and try mirroring again? No need to generate a new API token.

thanks for the report! I was able to reproduce this and just deployed a fix. Links that trigger a full page load should now keep you logged in. Can you try again?

Yeah, the desktop app isn’t signed yet, so macOS blocks it by default. You can allow it from System Settings -> Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. I’ll work on getting it signed!

slint seemed like a really good fit for that, and I really like its declarative UI approach too. Still experimenting with it, but the experience has been pretty nice so far.

plain version: it's a music player for the files on your computer. the unusual bit is that the songs you heart and the stations you save are stored in your bluesky account, not inside my app, so other apps can read the same list

New on Rocksky: Explore You can now query the catalog directly with RSQL: songs, albums, artists, playlists and scrobbles. Combine predicates with ; (and) and , (or), group with parentheses, use * as a wildcard.

@rocksky.app now supports playlists. app.rocksky.playlist holds the collection, app.rocksky.playlist.song holds each entry, strong-ref'd to the song record so the link stays content-addressed. Open lexicons, so any player can read or build on them.

@rocksky.app stores EQ, tone, crossfade and replay gain as records on ATProto. Any other player can reuse them and stay in sync, your sound follows you across apps.

There was a bug in Rocksky’s Spotify watcher: an async task could crash when Spotify returned a response that couldn’t be deserialized as expected. It should be working normally again now.

I don't think it’s an issue on Spotify’s side, it looks like your OAuth session in Rocksky may have expired. Could you try logging out of Rocksky and logging back in?
