Sojourner 1 performed two gravity assist flybys of Kerbin. The first changed the probe's inclination to mach Dres' and the second raised its aphelion to encounter the planetoid

Sojourner 1 launches aboard an Atlas V 401 towards Dres, a planetoid orbiting between Duna and Jool. The probe's solar panels need to be large to provide sufficient power do to Dres' distance from the sun

One orbit later, Discovery 1 encounters Eve again. Using its Star 37 SRM, the satellite inserts itself into an eliptical orbit. After insertion the probe uses liquid fuel engines to raise its inclination to fly over Eve's poles and begin using radar to map the surface of Kerbin's purple sister.

Discovery 1 performes a flyby maneuver of its target, Eve. This will lower the probe's Aphelion and reduce the Δv needed for orbital insertion.

Discovery 1 (based off of Magellan) launches on an Atlas I rocket towards Eve. Discovery will be a series of satellites built to explore Eve, Duna, and Near Kerbin Objects.

In order to support longer Apollo missions at higher latitudes, the KSA has started constructing a relay satellite constellation around the Mun. Here a Titan IV launches LRS M2 (Lunar Relay Satellite Mission 2) conprosed of LRS 2A and 3A to join LRS 1A which was launched a month earlier

After just one orbit, Minmus 2 is commanded to turn its cameras on Kerbin to witness a rare even. A solar eclipse from orbit around Kerbin's smallest moon. The images sent back to the KSA captivate Kerbals all over the globe.

As the satellite descends towards its target it ignites its engine for a six minute long capture burn; bringing it into a highly inclined 20km orbit above Kerbin's pale green neighbor. Here it will examine the surface and the environment around the moon for future missions.

Minmus 2, built from a spare Lunar Orbiter, and launched on an Atlas SLV-3 Agena D with a new wider fairing, heads to the small moon for which the probe is named after expending every last drop of fuel from the Agena upper stage.
