I wrote this when my kids were young.

These pictures pop up in my screensaver now and again. It was a beautiful sight 12 years ago, from Three Graces in Garibaldi, OR, looking over to Barview Jetty. #photography #sunset #pnw

Do you want to go to the….beach? This is what Scout looks like when asked that question. #dogs #dogsofbluesky

Here is a picture I took a couple of years ago after a rare winter storm on the North Oregon Coast. #birdoftheday #goodlight #gulls

Aww, congratulations all around! I miss my Zach… he was a big doodle who lived to 15. Now we have a little rescue named Scout. She is a little stinker, but I love her. Enjoy your new family dynamic!

If only. The felon isn’t in jail, is he. And arresting judges will make this even less true, sadly. This old grammy is struggling right now. My chest is heavy.

We are the ducks at the end of this clip. 🙁

I saw our country’s mascot yesterday, and was enjoying the sight. But when I saw the little guys duck and cover out there, I felt sad because we as citizens need to do that, too. My heart hurts! #resist #baldeagle #democracy

I used FB and Insta to share my photos and whatnot. I miss that. So for giggles, here is a share for that "rest and joy."

Beautiful clear morning on the Oregon Coast. Buckle up because the weather for the next week looks like it will be as messy as our politics. #moonset #pnw #oregoncoast #blueskyphotos #buckleup #resist

Regular people like me feel helpless. And depressed. And so very angry.

It’s a great week to be outside and reset. Here is another bygone sunset. Any guesses as to the location shown? MLK: "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." #nature #photography #resist

Scout is a rascal on walks… just pulls and pulls. BUT when I started using a gentle leader, she miraculously became the best walking buddy ever! (Except for her hoovering problem.) #dogs #dogwalks #bestie
