I’m a comic book guy. I’ve been into comics and cartoons, my whole life, Dungeons & Dragons and video games since they were invented (yes, I’m that old).

Phrases like:
“Knowledge is Power”
“With Power Comes Responsibility”
“For Truth and Justice!"
are burned into my mind and form core values.

The struggles of our heroes, hard choices, the often unsympathetic masses and media, the untold sacrifices, helped me understand that one view or one issue isn’t the whole story.

Do the right thing. Not for money. Not for fame.
For your neighborhood. Maybe for Earth, if you’re called.

Years ago I was able to provide a bit of tech help to Ron, and now, I’m proud to call Ron a friend, and his endorsement is a tremendous honor for me.

I hope to prove worthy of such praise and look forward to the triumphs and success stories I know we can deliver together, with creative, fun and collaborative local government.
With big visions, our community is our superpower!

“I’m a storyteller. I see the world around us through a prism of story, of heroes and villains, of triumphs and tragedies. And right now, it feels like our stories are mostly tragedies, with far too many villains prospering and profiting.

We’re in a dark place, and in order to get back to the light, we need people like Truman Esmond to lead the way.

I’ve known Truman for a number of years now, first as a fan of my work, and then as a friend. So I know he’s exactly the sort of person Park County needs in this hour of need.

I first met Congressman Joe Neguse when he was running for CU Regent, some 20 years ago. Since being elected to Congress, he’s been able to work with others, keep his integrity and his joy of service in the face of immense pressures from inside and out, and shine in top leadership. I’ve watched him powerfully choose the right path as contexts change. He exemplifies holding power to account, including as an impeachment manager, in countless hearings, and developing policies attacking corruption and protecting people, here and around the world.
