I've made a website! 😯🎉 it's taken a while and been a learning curve but a fun process 😊. You can find out more about me, The Shell Keepers and pre-order links on the site. It will evolve I'm sure but at the moment it's a nice little home for my bookish life. Trulyjohnston.co.uk #kidlituk

Pretty lovely to have an opportunity to write like this yesterday. Good riddance to that anti-cyclonic gloom! Spring is springing and may your creativity too ✨️ 🌸 #writing #spring

Inua Ellams is a master craftsman. I fell into the world of this narrative poem and stumbled out stunned the other side. Fabulous storytelling and myth making. Catch it if you can! ✨️📚 #booksky

I went to a conference at one of my favourite places today, @barbican.bsky.social where I got married in 2016. I found this pocket garden filled with poetry written in the pandemic. It's striking to stumble across echos of that strange time, and special to have green seeded throughout the city.

Moor Lane community garden near the barbican centre. A small green space nestled beneath the flats.

Hello! 👋🏽 My first post into the blue. Hoping to reconnect with lovely bookish peeps! I write childrens fiction and poetry and have my debut MG novel out next year. I'll be mostly posting about kidlit, nature and london. How's the bookish chat here? Any tips to help me find my way? #kidlituk
