I can't help it. The new RPG art that is curated via a style sheet of do's and dont's, makes vomit come up in my mouth. This is from Arduin Grimoire. Simple and evocative black and white art, that usually showed your character getting brutally murder by a monster. I will die on this hill.

I see people use terms which are somewhat new to me. For instance: Sand Box Never used it during the first decade. Not really sure what it means. I just play how played in the early days. We called it playing an RPG. Would you want it any other way? Someone tell me what Sand Box means.

A fundamental difference between WOTC consumers and old schoolers. WOTC kids only play one game. WOTC can't sell DMGs like TSR did. Our OSR group is already onto another system with Knave. We play everything, even 5e, not so for the 5/6 e kids. Artist rendering of knave failed doubt checks.
