A recent survey found that 92% of U.S. adults have delayed or avoided medical care due to high costs. Meanwhile, a new study from Yale estimates that Medicare for All would save over 114,000 lives and $1 trillion a year. If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have universal healthcare.

I went down the rabbit hole further about such scams: someone shared share that they ask if you have an agent, and if you don’t, they’ll recommend one. And then the so-called agent will then charge the Author money to represent them.

I almost fell for one recently- also with a real editor’s name. I emailed the publisher from my Google search, sharing what I had received and they informed me that it was a scam and it’s becoming a really big problem not only for publishing houses like them, but also for literary agents.
