He'll spend more time onboard planes than actually trekking around in the forest, or carving a spoon, but Matthew doesn't mind. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity and well worth it. Personally, I am impressed he did the trip and maybe he saw something that makes him want to come back.

So, the youngest (13) went in to school today by bus. So far, so good. He got there. Coming home, slightly different. He made it out to the busstop and just got on the first bus that showed up. 🙄 That bus happened to go to Lomträsk, which is nowhere near where we live. The busdriver drove him home

So if we say that a generation is, on average, 25 years. 250 years is ten generations. Though, from what I've read, forcasts have talked about further out still before values come down to a *reasonable* point, like 4-500 years. That's 16-20 generations.

This is just the thing. Methane will hang around in the atmosphere for half a century or so. Carbon Dioxide, centuries. Water vapours - depends on how warm the planet is. The CO2 problem isn't just a problem *now*, it will be a problem 250 years from now. Maybe longer. *Probably* longer.

Weather.. Seems like we've been stuck in a loop of low pressures and rain for a couple weeks now. And it's beginning to show. South of us, there's flooding and an orange warning. The river is now visible from the house. If that's the river, or just flooding. Not been down to check.
