Chinese EV brands are annihilating legacy manufacturers in Australian sales because they're cheaper, loaded with far better tech and are just as reliable (at the moment). Ford are still complaining that they missed the boat, GM gave up on Australia entirely, and Toyota are still reliant on hybrids

My new claim to fame is that I beat Fred Vesti in a Super Formula Lights race at Watkins Glen on iRacing last night (he got taken out in a crash that wasn't his fault) but I'm taking it lol

Watching the new series of The Grand Tour, and I'll admit - I had doubts. Clarkson, Hammond and May were so influential for me growing up and I'll always have a soft spot for them. But the new presenters aren't trying to be them, they're objectively themselves. Go watch it, I think you'll enjoy it!

The Supercars telecast says around 40,000 people turned out to Wanneroo over the whole weekend - a track about 45min out of the Perth CBD in a city of over a million people. Seems a little low tbh, hopefully the incoming street race will improve that in years to come

Wanneroo is an incredible place to watch Supercars racing. The change of direction at turns 4 and 5 is one of the best places to watch in all of Australia. I was there in 2014 when a certain Scott McLaughlin won Volvo's first Australian touring car race in meatball years and it absolutely ruled
