Congrats to the staff at the Troy Public Library on their voluntarily recognized Union!

TROY AREA LABOR COUNCIL
CONGRATULATES TROY PUBLIC LIBRARY STAFF ON UNIONIZING
"The Troy Area Labor Council, AFL-CIO congratulates the staff of the Troy Public Library for winning voluntary recognition of their union with the Rochester Regional Joint Board/Workers United Upstate New York, an SEIU affiliate. We also thank the Library's Board of Trustees for voting to grant
voluntary recognition of their union.
This is an important victory, not just for the staff but for Library patrons and the entire city of Troy. By coming together to form a union and secure a seat at the bargaining table, the workers are demonstrating their commitment to Troy residents to maintain and expand the vital programming and services they provide at the library's two locations."
