honestly out of all the possible issues with a Linux build a broken Steam overlay is basically a non-issue I'm just happy whenever a see a native Linux build at all =D if I find bugs that bother me I switch to Proton

we used to let our tuxedo wander just the alley! he was an "indoor cat" with many homes 😜 we'd walk the alley each night and he'd come running from some neighbor's house - usually renters who "couldn't have cats" we moved 5 years ago and he's still SUPER upset that he can't go out anymore haha

As a software dev I've spent +15yrs in logistics. Specifically, I've spent +15yrs in intermodal. More precisely, I've spent 15yrs in drayage, which is a niche industry that most logistics pros don't even bother with. I've never stepped foot on a tractor/"semi". this is common in software. 🤷

IBM bought RedHat, so it doesn't get much bigger than that as far as a single company's stake in a particular Linux distro goes (aside from cloudy "distros" like Amazon Linux etc) Aside from that it's murky with layers of sponsorship, technical donations, and raw nerd power.

I always forget to disconnect my headphones from my PC and they drive me nuts trying to reconnect in the living room so I wrote a script to find all audio Bluetooth devices and disconnect them and set up a shortcut on my phone to ssh in and run it it brings me far more joy than it should #linux
