I know what I was being taught by journalism in the 1960’s. They insisted we never settle for “bothsidesism” or “stenography,” and the best journalists I soon worked with also adhered to that standard.

Really stupid BS move. Sick of #GOPGovernors trying to suck up to #POTUS47 by either caving, or doing some “obey in advance” move that just makes them look weak and stupid, while endangering the rest of us. I think Akron, Dayton, and Cleveland all need his attention a hell of a lot more than DC.

South Carolina, WestVirginia, and Ohio may want to rethink sending National Guard units to D.C. In case their governors missed it, we are approaching height of hurricane season. A good Cat 5 landing on East Coast can still produce a lot of flooding inland too. They might be needed at home. Hello!
