Yeah I get that. I would just prefer if it was concretely GenAI usage rather than other AI used to test things as a player. Because I do see the latter as not exactly a problem it's just checking if things work almost as intended. Things will require human attention and those are gems.

True. In that case, they're still gonna check if things work with or without a AI test dummy player or not. Which is kind of why I don't see letting AI test be comparable to letting Gen AI erase jobs that do require a lot more attention creatively.

Hello GTA RP dev. I can understand that, but I can also understand people just grabbing a AI test dummy as a player to get the more obvious bugs out so at least some polish is a thing. AI isn't going to find every bug tho, because it's AI. Only so much it can do. We fellas will find the funny bugs.

Oh yeah I know. Palworld pretty much found that the funniest way imaginable (and kept it. Based). Just I don't think having AI test for obvious bugs is entirely bad. Though it does lose the human charm of someone human finding it and being bewildered. Sure some will slip thru still for those.

I meant in use of borrowing a AI to find bugs in your game as say a player to test your coding to make sure it's functioning is probably different from Gen AI. I might be a bit under educated if that still is Gen AI or not. Since I see it as more of ants working on a puzzle there.

While I don't quite know how much art is put into coding a lot of the times (I'm aware it's an iceberg that varies greatly on mediums). However I do know when you let GenAI code completely on it's own. My computer will explode (A freak I made a beware of used it. It was bad omg).

So having AI play test your code for bugs is still bad? I mean yeah I get some bugs are funny like Palworld's "CATCH THE TOWER BOSSES" one and tbf that one stayed because it was that funny. But having a AI player test your game doesn't exactly sound like GenAI is what I initially meant.

Which doesn't help with the cause of Anti AI, if anything you just damaged the cause because you cannot act with any clarity or read your sources right. That's a massive detriment to your argumentation because it now looks like you don't know what to fight against.

Also don't take me without context here. I hate genAI with a passion. To the point I will be the dick to make fun of people over it. It just appears that half of these entries use the tools for either enemy tests, physics tests, or so far none you just wanted to add it in.

Some the sources you cited kind of puts egg on your thread. Since some of the games dubbed "AI slop" here use AI to test physics, or are on here because you have a bias. We're aware that CEOs are dicks, but that's not proof enough that a game is AI slop. You seem to be targeting any AI in general

I did get some help to make this more aware from people outside of that community. Just the lack of any action from that community, speaks a ton more volumes. Especially when they will happily spread misinfo on people or target recovering art thieves over making this known. It's deafening.
